Josuttis gives a nice overview of issues pertaining to having a large ecosystem of services, what to do about versioning, considerations on state or statelessness, and a host of other issues. It starts really strong, but unfortunately dies out a bit in the end with some fairly technical asides that only seem marginally relevant. For a book on processes it is thankfully light on cumbersome process frameworks, bringing the true essence of SOA more into view than a lot of other books accomplish.
