Magnificent. I read this book like it was a novel not an assignment for a school paper. It was a quick read but provided wonderful details on Constantine the Great. From his birth and the brief description of his parents, the ascendency of his father as a co-Emperor of the Roman Emperor, the struggle for power among his rivals, his legendary conversion and undisputed reign as Emperor to the building of Constantinople. Got the equivalent of an A++ for this book. A+
