This is a good explanation and lesson for learning place value for the ones and tens place. But it's a bit expensive in my opinion for the length and material taught. And now, I want a popsicle.

We bought this book to go along with the Memoria Press Simply Classical Curriculum.

This is a great example of a concept book. It teaches children about how to correctly use the ones and tens place and uses Popsicles to show quantity. It starts off simple, and gets more complicated making it easy for a child to grasp.
