1000 arabic words of the QuranKey stories, messages and lessons of the QuranSummary and overview of all 114 surahs99 personal development lessons from the QuranHow to benefit from the Quran in your daily life
“As you travel through the Quran, at every step you will be summoned to choose, and commit to Allah. To read the Quran is nothing less than to live the Quran willingly, sincerely, devotedly, and totally. The outcome of your entire life depends on how you heed the call given by God. The journey is therefore decisive for your existence, for mankind and for the future of human civilisation.”
Would recommend this book but would say to read it after achieving a thorough understanding of the Quran (via translation & tafseer), this as the title mentions is an overview. definitely a read ill be going back to though.
Book gives a summary of each chapter, includes what period of Muhammads (ﷺ) life it was revealed, its virtue, key themes & messages, verses to provide an insight on said themes, list of supplications mentioned in it & provides the reader with a list of keywords at the end of each chapter (which is great, helps you expand your arabic vocab)
by providing brief intros and succinct summaries of each chapter of the Qur’an, together with mind maps and relevant vocabulary, this book makes for an amazing Ramadan companion! fav thing was the inclusion of quranic dua that appear in each surah, its such a great way to learn more of them, especially the ones that are less known!
would highly recommend aiding your reading of the Qur’an with this book if you do not find enough time to go through a complete translation of the Qur’an during the month of Ramadan, as it gives you a quick yet comprehensive journey through the book of Allāh ﷻ
A must read book that highlighted the key stories, messages and lesson from each of 114 Chapter/Surah. You also will learn 1,000 Arabic words and Quranic supplications that can be recited everday to seek Allah forgiveness, merciful and etc.
This is a good book but does not add much to existing books on the topic. The claim for Mind mapping is a weak one. The book has only two level mind maps. There is no need for mind mapping for this type of structure. The next edition should produce a significant level of improvement.
