The two stories in this book are a departure from Rachel Lee's usual Conard County fare. The books, both written in the early-90's, are her first-attempts at "paranormal romance."

Book one is a ghost story of sorts, set in Florida. Her usual strong alpha male character and heroine-who-needs-saving.

Book two takes place in Conard County, but involves a Native American mythos, and none of the usual CC characters.

I found both stories good reads--although you have to be in an early-90's-romance frame to read them. Older romance fiction tends to be less politically correct & more old-fashioned...where men save the women, and the women are happy to swoon in their arms. :)

Loved this book! The first story really drew me in. Couldn't put it down! Intense moments,, haunted houses, evil ghosts, and hot army men. What more could you ask for?! The second story was good as well, just really loved the first one.

Reading this book was painful. I couldn't get into either one of the stories and was glad when it finally ended.
