He is a proponent of the theory that a large segment of humanity will undergo ascension in the year 2012. He also appeared in several episodes of the History Channel series Ancient Aliens.

HISTORICAL CYCLES, THE ‘LAW OF ONE,’ AND SYNCHRONICITY BLENDED
Author David Wilcock wrote in the first chapter of this 2013 book, “[The Source Field Investigations] debuted in … 2011… and stayed on the New York Times Bestseller list for three weeks… even though I had decided to cut more than a hundred pages from the original manuscript so the book would not be overwhelmingly long. [In] The deleted chapters… I rigorously demonstrated that the most significant events in world history are not random---they are actually repeating, again and again, in very precise cycles of time…. One of these cycles is the classic 2,160 year Age of the Zodiac… In this book I will lay out a complete presentation of the evidence, and I will also present a working model of how these cycles might be happening and why… Although this is not considered a popular notion by any means, there is extensive scientific proof that the universe itself is alive. It is a vast, singular, living being---and we are far more interconnected with it than we may have ever believed. A unified, conscious energy field generates the entire cosmos, and this hidden energy can appropriately be called the Source Field.” (Pg. 8-10)
He adds, “Thanks to … scientific discoveries, we can now suggest that human life could be a galactic or even universal template, potentially appearing on every habitable, watery planet in the galaxy… The majority of ancient cultures worldwide reported interactions with human-looking ‘gods’ or ‘angels’ that gave them powerful assistance---in agriculture, animal husbandry, spoken nd written language, construction techniques, mathematics, and science, as well as spiritual teachings of morality, ethics, and becoming a more loving person. The majority of ancient cultures also consistently taught us that history moves in great cycles of time, whether in the Mayan calendar, the Hindu Yugas, or the Ages of the Zodiac.” (Pg. 17-18)
He outlines, “I do believe not only that the universe is alive, but also that it is conscious and self-aware. There is a plan and a purpose to our lives on earth that is far greater than most of us have ever realized… Nor do we only have one life to live. There is undeniable scientific proof that we reincarnate again and again. We also keep moving through the same lessons in our history as they repeat incredibly precise patterns. These wars and atrocities need not continue, however---they will persist only if we keep creating them, in our ignorance of the greater reality that surrounds us. The truth does not require any religion to appreciate; however, we may discover that the ancient spiritual traditions hold far more wisdom than most modern scientists have ever believed. Synchronicity gives us an invitation to explore this greater reality. Synchronicity is the key that unlocks the doors to the mysteries of the universe. Synchronicity appears in … measurable form in the cycles of history---events that keep repeating, very precisely, in units of time that can be thousands of years in length. I became much more aware of this phenomenon once I began studying a unique body of data known as the Law of One series in 1996..” (Pg. 20)
He recounts, “This model of a living cosmos was originally found in a very unusual source called the Law of One series---five books that were allegedly obtained by intuitive means [channeling] from 1981 to 1983. The Law of One series consists of 106 dialogues between a … physics professor, Dr Don Elkins, and an allegedly higher source of intelligence speaking through … Carla Rueckert which she was in an unconscious trance state… Through Carla, Don was apparently speaking to a large group of people who were once like humans on earth but who had since merged into a single consciousness. From a biblical perspective, they would likely be classified as seraphim or cherubim…” (Pg. 22)
He continues, “I first began studying the Law of One material in … 1996… The law of One almost immediately crystallized my focus… in a way I couldn’t have imagined possible, and shaped the entire future course of my life’s work… I, too, began having profound personal experiences of contact with the source of the words---both in dreams and in direct telepathic messages. By that point I was well aware that there was a higher power in the universe. By inviting it to contact me and being willing to follow the spiritual practices in the Law of One series, I got results… soon in began producing page after page of words, from a very deep level of meditation… The words spoke with seemingly omniscient awareness of my deepest physical, mental, and emotional issues and clearly showed me how to heal them…” (Pg. 24) He adds, “I also lived with the surviving founders of this give-volume series from January 2005 to October 2004---Carla Rueckert, a devout Christian… and Jim McCarty, who transcribed all the dialogues… By living with Carla… I was able to prove, well beyond any margin of doubt, that she could not possibly have faked the Law of One material.” (Pg. 26)
He asserts, “There is solid scientific evidence to support the Law of One concept that human evolution is moving in roughly twenty-five-thousand-year cycles. First, the Neanderthals died out… somewhere between twenty-eight thousand and twenty-four thousand years ago… fifty thousand years ago… no one on earth used any tools that were more sophisticated than a crude stone blade. However… beginning fifty thousand years ago, people … suddenly began making musical instruments, artwork, religious carvings, harpoons, arrowheads, needles, and beaded jewelry…” (Pg. 35)
He explains, “synchronicity is a mysterious event in which two or more things happen at the same time that seem directly related to each other, even though this would normally be impossible.” (Pg. 43) He acknowledges, Synchronicity… doesn’t always work…Once you become aware of the possibilities that exist… you can beg, cry, long for it, and beseech the great forces of the universe to give you another chance---but synchronicity makes its own rules.” (Pg. 52)
He states, “the entire Wheel of Karma can be stopped through forgiveness. These upsetting events keep repeating only until we learn the greatest teaching of the universe---that we are all one, and there is only identity… After you become aware of karma and watch it play out many hundreds … of times in your own life, it can become quite astounding to see how stubborn and unwilling some people are to see it…” (Pg. 122)
He contends that “Both Origen and … Clement of Alexandria, wrote about receiving secret teachings from Jehoshua [Jesus] that were passed to them through the apostles. They ardently insisted that reincarnation and pre-existence were one of Jehoshua’s most important secret teachings…” (Pg. 143)
He explains, “Now that we have established the structure that spiritual evolution is taking… we are finally ready to explore the cycles of history… many, if not most, of the events that happen in our world---even the worst mass atrocities---are not random at all. They appear to be the manifestations of an intelligent structure in time that we keep moving through… If we see others as separate from ourselves… we will keep suffering right along with our forgotten brothers and sisters. Wars and fatalities will keep repeating, again and again, until we finally see that we are all one… Our leaders cannot steer us into wars unless at least a certain percentage of us believe that violence is necessary to solve our problems.” (Pg. 246-247)
He recalls that after writing ‘The Source Field Investigations,’ “I soon found myself irresistibly drawn into a new quest. I had to know if this zodiac cycle was still at work today…. Once I saw the truth, everything changed. I had to … rethink everything I thought I knew about life on earth… Events in our history become equivalent to major turning points in screenplays, but hardly anyone on earth understands that there is a hidden intelligence directing all of this…” (Pg. 267)
He summarizes, “The Law of One series, the [Edgar] Cayce readings, my own intuitive readings, and a host of ancient prophecies all suggest that life on earth will transition into a far more peaceful, harmonious, and evolved level as we move into the Age of Aquarius… the 25,920-year cycle is indeed the Synchronicity Key; it is the mainspring of the cosmic clock… I suspect that we have barely scratched the surface of understanding of how far-reaching and powerful these cycles are… if we continue to meet violence with violence, the same cycles may need to continue repeating. Through forgiveness, we demonstrate that we are ready to graduate into a newer and much more evolved form of thinking, feeling, and being.” (Pg. 380-381)
He concludes, “This is certainly not a book for everyone… Volumes of scientific evidence are only useful when we are willing to look at them. At the time of this writing, much of this information would still be considered [‘fringe’ and ‘pseudoscience.’ … There are tools available, such as hypnotic regression, that can help awaken you to the greater reality I have outlined in this book---but without that initial desire to seek the truth, these keys will probably never be used or appreciated. Our transition to a Golden Age may continue to be a gradual process… We are not on a fixed timeline. We are not destined to experience a single outcome… The universe may very well be a living being---encouraging us to grow and evolve int our truest identity. Synchronicity is the key that unlocks the greatest mystery of time.” (Pg. 458-459)
There isn’t a lot in this book that will appeal to his ‘Ancient Aliens’ fans. But it provides some key insights into his ideas and their development.
