The very rich, handsome, and charming Lord Brian Brandon, the Earl of Aldringham, had an eye for the ladies. Indeed, he was the most renowned rake in the realm, with as many conquests as he could desire.
This should have assured the safety of his ward, Miss Georgiana Southwold. The Earl could not possibly notice this modest miss - who far preferred books to beaus - when so many bold beauties were his for the taking. But Georgiana's spotless virtue and the Earl's untouched heart both came under siege when the Lord Brandon stopped looking at Georgiana as a girl and saw her as a woman....
Even before studying eighteenth-century literature in graduate school, Evelyn Richardson decided she would prefer to have lived between 1775 and 1830. Now living in Boston, she enjoys access to the primary sources that allow her to explore the specific details of the period and immerse herself in the same journals that her heroines enjoyed.
This author is not safe!! I read a few of her books and all of them had a hero sleeping with mistress after meeting heroine, I am a romantic so I don't like that stuff happening.
