Kidnapped is a really good book if you want a book that has great adventures and has realistic themes and plots. The book is about a boy named David who travels to see his uncle Ebenezer, lives with him for a few days, but then gets kidnapped by a ship that has a crew and from that point of time he faces the rest of his adventure going through fights, escapes, sword battles, meets friends and much more. Honestly I think the book was great and every plot was not left behind or glossed over. The thing in the book that was really obvious is the main character David getting kidnapped since it actually shows on the cover "Kidnapped". The adventurous parts of the story had a lot of different tones and emotions, like in one part it was about David trying to escape the red soldiers to get to safety. This has a intense emotion. There are other parts that make you picture David getting tortured by hunger, fatigue, and thirst. The main plot of the story started, because of this quote. " The Hawes Inn, at Queen's Ferry." Sir- I lie here with my ferry at shore, and send my cabin boy to inform. If you have any further commands, as the winds serve us a memorable voyage." If this letter or quote was not there, David would have not been captured. All in all, this should be a great book of fiction and adventure.
