Saving the world isn't going very well for Elf Girl and Raven Boy. They've left Fright Forest and crossed a huge plain to the worryingly named Monster Mountains, where they find a sign telling them to turn back. Perhaps they should do as it says!

This story from the Elf Girl and Raven Boy series is book 2. Not the best story I have read but did enjoy this one slightly more than the first one as feel like you know the characters a bit more which always helps.
The chapters are short and easy to read, making it quick to get through.
After their first adventure in Fright Forest they are now on a trek to find the Goblin King and are heading towards then through Monster Mountains. They pass statues of Monsters and get rescued from a Yeti by a wizard who is the one who is making all the statues.
After their escape they end up at Scream Sea which leads us into the next book in the series...
