If you’re looking for a very basic guide for understanding the educational research process, this text hits the mark and provides exactly what the name implies.

However, if you’re a doctoral student who has completed multiple courses in research design, philosophy, and analysis, and you’ve been assigned this book as a later course reading, you’re going to want to gouge your eyes out with a dull spoon; a testament to the author’s achievement in reaching their goal.

Had to use in my research class, a nice introduction to research, the types of research and the research project process. Easy to read, and short chapters. Will definitely aid you as a good introduction into the research field and supporting you in the steps for your paper.

I had to read this for a grad class. This was one of the easiest to read assigned books of my adult life time, and because of that - 4 stars on readability!
