Problems that "just won't go away" can be settled through methods developed by one of America's leading experts in conflict resolution. In clear language, Weeks shows readers how to turn conflict into lasting partnerships and ensure a fruitful outcome.
I reread this every year when I use it in a class I teach on management. Some years the students find it valuable, other's they would rather be doing anything else.
Very interesting and uncomplicated. Great easy to identify with case studies. It's the type of book you can identify with easily, and start implementing into your own life the minute you've completed reading it. It may take some practice to identify your own areas of conflict, but that also depends on the EQ of the reader. Good read for those who want to improve their interpersonal skills and communication - for life, friends, work, relationships, parenting as well as marriage and divorce.
The best part of the book is the scenarios that go along with resolving conflict. My favorite example was of the two women who both applied for the same job and who both dated the same man. This is the type of book that you read once and then then use it as a reference later on.

Read this for school but would recommend it to anyone. It's readable and shares tips that'll make you a better human. Plus, women have more than token roles in the hypothetical scenarios. That's not usually the case in these types of books, especially ones that were originally published years ago.
A book by a college professor I really liked. More oriented towards group or government conflicts, but also has good information on individual conflict resolution.
