It's All about Him

After Jesus, Everything Else Is Hardly Worth Talking About!

You know you need God. But do you know how much God needs you? The One whose mercies are new every morning wants to be one with you!

This book will move you beyond religious theory into a deeper walk with God. Lee Venden explains in simple terms how to make friends with Jesus. Using a blend of stories, parables, and plain teaching, he explains how to surrender your will, how to be converted daily, and how to experience Christ's transforming power.

Here you will find practical suggestions for how to have a meaningful devotional life. How to experience two-way communion with God in prayer. How to deal with discouragement and failures. How to be an effective witness.

Jesus will meet your every need and fulfill your deepest heart longings. It's not what you do that counts, or what you know. It's Whom you know.

It's all about Jesus. Only Jesus. Ever Jesus.
And He wants to make friends with you.

One of the best books you will read on cultivating a relationship with Jesus Christ and not on the "requirements" of religion.

I wish I had held onto the more well balanced principles in this book as a religious person into latter college years. Dearest Gwen Bader gave us all this book to read my first summer at Camp Whitesand, and it really set an amazing tone for that summer, not to be repeated by interim or new long term directors alike.

A book which is entirely focused on why and how to have a meaningful relationship with Jesus.

Lee Venden has a passion for this topic and I recommend this book as a light but eye-opening read for anyone willing to give it a chance.

this book is a pretty basic introduction to Jesus. there are questions at the end of every chapter for the reader to be able to go into greater depth in Bible study. however, the chapters were long. But, the last two chapters are so excellent I've decided to keep this book in order to be able to reread them.

All About Him

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about Christ. To anyone who feels disconnected from Him. While reading this book you will be drawn to Him.

Classic SDA Week of Prayer fare, but heart-felt. Meaningful insights into the daily practice of connection with Infinite Love. It's good to be reminded that there is indeed water at the well of my youth.
