This is on the long side for a read-aloud. It's so dense with information that I usually only read a few pages at a time. But TJ really enjoys learning about wolves.

This is a very good beginning book for children about wolves. There are plenty of colorful pictures to emphasize the text in the book while the author made the words easy and simple to read. And in the few places where words may cause a problem for a child good and easy to understand explanations are given.
