Some people believe in fate. But others believe WE decide our destiny. But what about “people” like Abigail? Who decides her future?
I am an avid reader, but sci-fi has never been a genre I have actively sought out to read. That is, until someone suggested “Flutter” by L.E. Green. I went into the book expecting it to be filled with all tech/ science and no “feelings”- but I was wrong! From the beginning, I was drawn to Abigail and Roger. Abigail: because she had to learn to make the best out of the deck she was dealt and Roger because he never gave up on his dream, even after being forced to stop his studies. His basement lab reminded me of how we dreamers will find a space in our homes to continue our work, even if it never sees the light of day.
L.E. Green’s descriptive language pulls the reader into her world and allows us to feel, taste, smell and fully experience what her characters are experiencing. She sets up each chapter like a scene from a movie, and we can immediately “see” what that character is seeing.
I read “Flutter” while on vacation and when the last chapter started, I was sad! I wanted to see where Abigail and Roger go next!
I hope L.E. Green will be releasing book 2 soon! I am anxious to see how this awesome story continues.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel. Action-packed and filled with twists and turns at every end, the plot was far from predictable! I enjoyed the author's writing style and skilled character development. I can't wait for the sequel!
