Somehow I missed the fact that this was a novella. It was still a very nice read. I enjoyed the back story of how Cisco came into Raine's life. I probably should have waited until I'd read a few more books in the series because I was unsure of who some of the real book time characters were. I read it while listening to Christmas music.
A short story that was still absolutely worth picking up and reading. This book might be short but still gives an elegant story that doesn't feel rushed nor compacted too little. This storyline didn't have me as guessing as other books have, but it was still interesting to see it all unfold. We get to see baby Cisco and his very first mystery that he solves! A very cute story, recommend for sure!
Very cute and enjoyable short sort, especially if you like dogs. Cisco is incorrigible. Raine is a well-thoughtout character. The gang is all there with I guess you could say a surprise visitor.
A short, cute Christmas tale. No murder or real mystery (well, kind of a mystery). I found I liked it more than most of the regular installments of the series. Raine is more likable than in some of them. As usual, lots of dogs.
A Christmas-themed stocking filler for dog lovers! It's a very short story and only took me 30 minutes to finish. For fans of the series - I'm one - it's a light snack before moving on to the main course.
The author's love of dogs shines through in this Christmas story in a story about Cisco and Raine's beginning. The magical appearance and disappearance of Santa Claus was quite a hoot. Loved it!
All That Glitters is a short story featuring Donna Ball's Raine Stockton character. I read an anthology that had shorts on Ball's characters, and I wanted more of Raine. This is a great Christmas story.
Perfect story to read on Christmas Eve. I enjoyed reading how all three dogs came to live with Raine, so it was a bit extra special and good timing in where I left off in the series (just finished Silent Night).
Cute and short about how Raine adopts Majesty, Mischief and Magic. But, it is also about how she comes to own Cisco and why. Love the context of how the story is told! Glad I read it.
This is a fun back story to the Cisco mystery series, of which I've not read any books. It did make me want to check them out tho! The story of the puppy at Christmas and small town life. Novella
