I love the concept, but the pacing ruins the execution. They're trying to cram 3 & a half years of events into a 5 issue mini-series. It's issue 3 & we're already on X of Swords. I came into this issue feeling like I had missed something.

Now I suspect that the rush has something to do with the upcoming X-Men 97 tv series, which I suspect will adapt the previous X-,Men 92 comic series, as well as this. At least hen they can take their time.

Wrapping up all the x of swords issues into a few pages is genius. I especially like how they left out the pointless dinner parties.

The art is 90s with a modern twist of awesome. The story how ever of putting an entire multi-issue event into a part of an issue was a werid choice
