The simple truth of the matter is that every normal person has an excellent capacity for memory. If it seem poor, inefficient, as inattentive to what is going on round about as a messenger boy reading a dime novel while he loiters on his way, it is because the memory is not given a fair chance. Every time, it is the fault of the owner, not of the memory. The memory needs exercise, training, just as does the hollow chest. It will respond gratefully to treatment, as surely as the lungs to deep breathing. And the response of the mind is swifter, subtler, far more splendid.

دائمًا ما كنت من أصحاب الذاكرة القوية وللأسف كقارئ يحتاج إلى تركيز وتذكر وربط بين الأحداث كنت ومازلت أواجه صعوبة في تذكر أحداث رواية ما أو إذ أحدهم ألقى سؤال القارئ الذي في مرحلة اكتشاف القراءة وهو "رشحيلي كتاب حلو أقرأه" وأنا أجاهد مع ذاكرتي لإغاثتي بالإجابة المفيدة ولكن هيهات فالذاكرة فارغة في وقت طرح السؤال!
وقع بين يدي كتاب "ذاكرة مثالية كيف تمتلكها وتحافظ عليها" فرحت لإن وأخيرًا سأجد حل لهذه العقدة، وبدأت في قراءة العمل ورأيتني أمام عمل مترجم بطريقة بسيطة وغير معقدة وكأني أقرأ عمل بقلم عربية وليس مترجم!
يُعرض داخل الكتاب حلول معروفة للأغلب ولكن بتفسيرها وخطوات المساعدة بالترتيب وإذا الحل نجح أو فشل وأسباب فشله وكيفية المعالجة أو عدم الوقوع في هذا الخطأ الذي يؤدي إلى فشل الحلول.
