Although it has some practical advice, Non-Christians would want to look elsewhere for life changing words. The outdated lingo and bro for christ attitude doesn't help and even if it's a devotional I just decided to read through. If you want to be a world changer in the eyes of the lord go right on ahead. I'm happy in my little corner of the world thank you.

This book was very helpful in my teen years. It makes you commit to follow the instructions in the book, which basically show you practical things you should be doing to stay on track: memorize scripture, meditate on its specific application on your life, designate daily time to be with God. All the things we read about over and over again...but presented in such a way that the youth is challenged to actually do them while going through the book.

I got this at an Aquire the Fire convention. It was the first time I'd ever heard of a "quiet time." God really spoke to me through this.
