I enjoyed some of this book but to be honest, you have had to live through the pilot's experiences to really "get" this book. Each two page fold covers either a song sung by military pilots or a personal experience by the author. Then the following page has comics pertaining to that thought. For someone who actually flew for the military, this book would be perfect, but for the casual observer it just doesn't click. I nice addition for a World War II adult collection.

For anyone who hasn't been in the military, this collection of comic anecdotes from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam is funny. For those who were in the military, it is simply hilarious.
