Ex-library first edition. Rebound in attractive textured green cloth with simple cover decoration; gilt spine lettering; no imprinted call numbers on spine. Drawing of crime scene layout alongside first text page. Moderate rubbing to cover extremities. About one quarter of text pages are irregularly lightly-to-moderately soiled and stained with various smudges and marks, mostly in margins. Light diagonal creasing to a few upper corners. Slight loss to upper corners of two pages. Library four small inked digits on title page; library and "discarded" inkstamps to copyright page; inked date stamps and pocket strip removal remnants to rear endpapers. Binding tight.
