I try to read at least a couple books a year about workplace stuff to improve myself as an employee. I say "try" because I find most of them really don't speak to my situation very well. Even though this book is addressed mostly to managers, I still found it a huge help. Even if your workplace doesn't even use formal performance reviews, there is so much of value here that I think every manager and employee should read it.
