I have to be honest and say I am not a fan of MM (my preference). I usually say throw a F in there somewhere and I am happy. But, this time I was not so happy.

I felt like the "F" Se was negligible in this story. I think there was little time building the characters and relationships it was all poured into describing the brutality of the Foe...I think I will have a nightmare or two with that one. For me this was not my cup o' tea. But, hey lots of other people seemed to like it so make your own mind up. ;)

Continuing the space romp that started in ‘Retribution’, this time it is Rock’s turn to find love in the most unexpected places. He was an important secondary character in Rave and Kain’s story, but he really comes into his own here. Sela is Kain’s cousin and there was sexual tension brewing between her and Rock almost from the start of the series, but it takes the addition of Zander, a geeky scientist, for everyone to realize what’s what. The story starts with a bang – literally the explosion of Zander’s spaceship in Rock’s path – and does not let up. There is a crazy, evil man after Zander, greedy and power-hungry to the extreme, and all these elements thrown together result in quite the action-laden space adventure.

Okay, let me start by saying that Jambrea Jo Jones is now among a handful of romance writers that do MMF the way I like it. There’s no leg of this triad that is stronger than the other. The love and the loving are divided evenly among all the lovers. That being said, Rock, Sela and Zander are the perfect Triad. Watching them fall is love was a true pleasure.

The first thing I liked about this book is that even though I jumped into the middle of series, I didn’t feel like I was missing key elements of the storyline. The world building and back-story were easy to follow. For those of you who did it right, Rave and Kain from the first book, Retribution, are in there and sexy as ever.

Favorite character? That would be a hard choice. Sela spends a lot of time trying not to fall in love with not one man, but two. Rock is such a he-man, but you always know that his heart is in the right place. Then there’s Zander, sweet geeky Zander who falls in love with two warriors and is constantly questioning his ability to pull his weight in their unconventional relationship.

I loved this book on every level. Whether in pairs or all together, the sex with these guys is off the chart hot. And not just erotic, get ya hot hot, but sensuous loving that allows each to be vulnerable with and strong for the others. I can honest say I’m looking forward to the next MM book, Freedom, scheduled to release 12/05/2011, like a kid at Christmas.

If you love a story with smoking hot loving, uber bad guys and a happy ever after, Salvation should definitely be on your to-read list. Trust me. You will not be disappointed. Excellent writing that you can always expect from Jambrea Jo Jones, fabulous plot twist and characters you can’t help but love. Highly recommend!!!

Review by Ivelisse: A hero with the name Rock you know its going to be good. This is book two which follows Sela, Kain’s cousin and Rock who is a very dear friend of Rave from book one in the Alliance Series. Sela wants Rock in a major way but is confused because she doesn’t know for sure if he is gay or straight since he did hit on Rave. Once Zander comes on the scene she realizes just what Rock really likes. The author is wonderful in showing the hesitation between the characters, everything moves so fast they are not sure if this its just a fling or something that will forever. They all find out soon enough just how they feel about each other once they realize they need to find out who is trying to kill Zander.

The one thing I loved about this book is the villain, Larrison. He is the epitome of bad guys, the way the author described him and his actions were phenomenal and cringe-worthy. Jambrea really knows how to write good suspense, as soon as I think I have it figured out she throws in the curve ball.

With ménage books I always get a little apprehensive because sometimes authors write them a bit confusing to the point where you really don’t know who is up or down, not with Jambre. She writes those scenes flawlessly and leaves nothing to the imagination. I can’t too see what is next in the series.
