An amazing childrens book! I enjoyed this book so much, and am thrilled it is going to be a series. The reason I love this book so much is that it's based on a true story and sets out to help other children who are affected by an illness. This book specifically deals with cancer, but in a way that is imaginative, fun and not scary at all.

Alex is a young boy who finds himself with an illness. He is scared and all of the new experiences he is forced to endure often make him sick. The title of the book reflects what Alex wants to be when he grows up - a firefighter, an astronaut and a ninja. The doctor uses this in her descripton of his treatments and medicine and says that his fans will help to defeat the bad things in his body.
After a few weeks, Alex is healed and able to leave the hospital, and continues to improve from there.

Not only was this a great book, but 50% of ALL of the profits go to charity for kids. You cant beat that.
