Interested in find out about a sloth or an eel? These are just two of the animals featured in Scholastic's Encyclopedia of Animals. Laurence Pringle wrote this reference book featuring profiles of animals,a glossary of terms and a pronunciation guide for each of the animals. Norbert Wu beautifully photographed each animal so the reader can put an image with each profile. This great reference book is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in learning more about animals.

April 25, 2011This seemed to be a great non-fiction piece on animals and I am glad that I own it to offer to students in any number of science projects and lessons I will do in my future classroom.
