One of the hopefully many books I will read about the Polish immigrant experience in preparation for a family trip to Poland next June. This was a good overview of the reasons why Polish people came to America and what they did when they got here. it included a chapter on famous Polish artists, writers, athletes and politicians. Short book but informative.

One of a series about settlers to America from , I also read the Irish-Americans.

Overall, the series is light reading, informative but not very in-depth. Worth the time, but not a reference if anyone is trying to dig DEEP into their roots.
