I’ve had this book on my shelf for about 18 years and still as an adult enjoy flipping through it every now and then. A local library donated a huge box of children’s books to my elementary school classroom and the whole class got to pick a book to take home. The Thumbtown Toad was my choice and I do not regret it. It was different from any book I had ever seen before. It’s a super creepy book and definitely should be categorized as CHILDREN’S HORROR. This book will probably make any horror genre fan smile. As a 7 year old little girl I was fascinated.
