Piatto, non riesce proprio a prendermi.
Preferisco dirgli addio che continuare in questo modo, senza nessun interesse a vedere come la storia prosegue.

Higa takes drastic measures and rebirths a comrade's waining faith in the struggle to revive the eighty-eight beasts, while destroying the man himself. Meanwhile, Mikogami is taken to her birthplace, and the home to the Mizu no Tami clan. There, the head of the Mizu no Tami tribe, Mikogami's grandmother, reveals a secret to the birth of the special five Kegai no Tami clans, and Kaede's team and humanity's deadly allegiance for power rears its horrible face...

Oh... Kikunosuke/Shiro had always been one of my characters from this series that I loved to hate, just as he is, but Higa... Higa-sama destroyed Shiro, thus, destroying the Kikunosuke we knew, huh? That's sad that Ando was murdered too... Ando being Kikunosuke's ex. He seemed like he actually loved him... Oh, Kikunosuke-kun... I'll miss you... Please get a hold of yourself and try to break free of Higa-sama once again... Your ability is to see the truth in people's hearts, right? That's why you led a sad life. Your parents despised you because of your hand, Shiro (Kikunosuke). Don't lose your true name, Kikunosuke. With it, you will lose all of your humanity... Also, omg Ishigami is back and alive! But I don't.. remember him dying or anything, so why is everyone making a deal out of him and the kamikaze?
Too... I feel a little sorry for Mikogami... I mean, she meets her actual grandmother, a person form her birth family, then not even an hour later her grandmother is beheaded right before her eyes by the very people she is living with. No wonder she went out of control! What orphan wouldn't?! And... it's so sad, the Kegai no Tami fate. Somehow, I'm under the impression that the eighty-eight beasts and the Kegai no Tami were made to bring an end to the world. Humankind's greed to keep the world alive longer and their hunger for power is proof of that. They're too cowardly to feel death, or at least they want to try to reach that point.
And oh my gosh, the government wants to use the eighty-eight beasts as military weapons?! I think that's the only reason why the Kegai no Tami are allowed to continue to live. Because, the Kegai no Tami and the eighty-eight beasts existences are intertwined.
AND YES! ISHIGAMI IS BACK! WITH A COOL SCAR AND A DIFFERENT LOOK IN HIS EYES! He's also human now. why the fuck did everyone think he was dead? I seriously don't remember. What the hell?! ALSO, MIKOGAMI IS ACTUALLY DOING SHIT NOW FOR THE RIGHT CAUSE. But only because of Ishigami. If he wasn't there, she'd probably be all like "u killed my entire bloodline and family right in front of my face den tried to kill me. Bitch lel ily." I'm sorry but Mikogami pisses me the fuck off. OH. BUT I LOVED DAT BATTLE AT THE END! WOO! And I guess they have to unseal all five Toriis to unleash ALL of the eighty-eight beasts, huh? I didn't know that until now. LOL. But anyway, Kami•Kaze is still explicit (not quite as bad as before), but now the story is finally really picking up and things are getting much more exciting!! I can actually say that I can't wait to read the next volume!
P.S. Is it just me, or does the creature that has elf-like ears and odd markings (and a badass mysterious aura) who continues to briefly appear toward the end of the book resemble the glimpse of what we saw Kikunosuke/Shiro turn into at the end of his last appearance? Honestly, I would love that. I've always liked Kikunosuke, and he deserves more love and a broader spotlight.
