So good!
* I seriously did not guess who the killer was! Well, I guess more than one person died so there was more than one killer, but I really did not guess who it was.

Really liked this book, a quick easy read with likable characters and a good twist near the end x

It's a shame, because these books are well-written (short and straight to the point), and always have interesting plot twists, but can the protagonist get any less likeable?

-She's racist towards whites. She's one of the good white girls, you see. So she shits on and stereotypes her own race. Vomit. The world is crawling with enough of those cringy, gross people.

-She cheats on her boyfriend, after spending a huge amount of time complaining about him, when the poor guy has done nothing but be kind and supportive of her. Oh, and she does this while looking down her nose at her mom's boyfriend for doing the same, because I guess it's only okay when Patsy does it.

-She behaves like a spoiled brat when her uncle offers to help her find another job when he has to let her go--something a lot of people don't have in their lives. She also blames him for her own decision to put off university.

-She treats Perry like crap throughout most of the book, when he's done nothing to her. I guess no one else is allowed to be friends with Billy. There's also zero mention of how badly she treated Billy a few books back all because he disagreed with her on a bunch of bratty protesters. That was just swept under the rug like nothing.

Honestly, on her best of days, Patsy has the personality of a cardboard box. On her worst of days (which are more frequent than not), she's a complete bitch who constantly acts like she's better than everyone else. If she would just get over herself and stick to true crime mysteries, these would be alright books.

Love the whole Patsy Kelly Investigates teen crime fiction series. Loved reading these in my teens.
