He was supposed to be a stranger, someone on the other side of the wall who’s there to please me and me them. No matter how much I try, I can’t stop thinking about the man who can make my fantasies come to life in a way no one else has. Nothing could have prepared me for the reveal of my mystery man.
I was supposed to be working on myself, trying to figure out my identity outside of my family or a boyfriend. Which led me to explore my desires at the local club, Avalon. And what I found there was more than I bargained for.
He’s not just funny, attentive, and slightly obsessed with me. He’s also the last man I should be falling in love with.
I was on a mission to find out who I was, and I did, just in the arms of a man who is forbidden to me—Lincoln Carlson. I just hope we don’t destroy our families in the wake of our desire, because no matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to stay away.
Forget Your Morals is an interconnected standalone with Swallow Your Pride being a linear timeline, these books can be read in either order.
Sarah Blue is a USA Today best-selling author of paranormal, omegaverse, and contemporary romance. When she isn’t writing you can find her nose buried in a book or picking up a new craft she probably won't finish. She lives in Maryland with her husband, children, and two cats.
I ATE THIS UP LIKE THE LAST COOKIE IN THE COOKIE JAR (if that cookie jar was hidden in the top shelf and forbidden from me 🫢)
Yall. Sarah Blue really DID THAT with this book 💫 I’m seated.

“Then forget your morals. Go get the guy you want,” she says. I smile at my aunt Maggie softly. The woman has no idea that she just inadvertently gave me the green light to fall for her son.
- He falls first - He falls harder - Grumpy x Sunshine - Secret relationship - Anonymous sexual encounters - Cousins (not by DNA) - 29 x 36 years old - Angsty - No kissing rule
I ate this shit the fuck up. I love me a good taboo romance and this one delivered. It wasn’t necessarily all that insanely taboo, but I could still see and understand why the fmc felt that way.
Penelope has never felt like she’s good enough. She seeks validation and ”love” from toxic relationships and loses another piece of herself in each one. being beautiful isn’t enough to make someone love you, I should know, seeing as I don’t even love myself. I just wanted to give Penny a big hug! The sweetheart that she is! A people pleaser, feeling like a failure, trying to find her way. To protect her heart, she’s sworn of dating. Having sex through a wall should be safe though, right? You can’t fall in love with someone you don’t know. Looking for a safe space to explore my sexual desires. I want to be used on my terms.
“What is your problem, Lincoln?” my brother asks. Our pretty, unobtainable cousin. That’s my problem.
Lincoln is a bit of a dick in the beginning, telling Penny to shut up (twice, I think?) and oh boy the way I wanted to throw him off a cliff. The only reason I got over it is because at that point, Lincoln and Penny had absolutely nothing but a (not very close)cousin relationship and Lincoln was a dick to everyone. Despite his asshole ways in the beginning, he grew on me quickly. He definitely had his own problems to deal with. When I tell you my man became OBSESSED with Penny🤭 I open a browser and pathetically search for ways to make a woman fall in love with you, romantic gestures, and therapists’ offices near me.
I want a Carlson brother🧎🏼♀️➡️
Penelope and Lincoln are so soulmates. I loved them so much. They had problems getting to their HEA, but it was so worth it! They’re the cutest and most deserving ever.
I don’t think I’ll ever be much of a exhibitionist, into sharing—” “No sharing,” Yes, Sir🫠
Why I didn’t give this a higher rating? Even though I loved this book, the love and obsession came a bit out of left field. We went from 5 to 50 a bit too fast. And becoming obsessed with someone you have not seen, only been blown by and had sex with through a glory whole is a biiit ridiculous. Their relationship did feel genuine, it was just a bit fast.
I don’t want to make her life harder than it already is. But the lengths I’m willing to go to get her to understand how we should be together is concerning.
Well done spice, - Cnc - Praise - Degradation - Glory holes - Sex club - Spitting - Edging
If the Carlson twins don’t get their own book/books, I will be rioting.
Loved seeing a bit of Jessa and Aiden’s relationship development through a different lens. And I loved just seeing more of the Carlson family, they’re amazing.
Swallow Your Pride - 3.75 stars Forget Your Morals - 4 stars
I screamed when I read this book. I've been waiting for this couple since book 1. And since they adopted cousins, it was more juicy.
Penny, poor girl, has been feeling meh lately in work and in relationship and her last one well he hit her. I'm glad she didn't stand for that and waited for Lincoln to come get her. You'll hate Lincoln a few times with how he speaks to Penny and how much of a jerk he is he went through something and is a jerk. Both want something anonymous and both signed up at a gloryhole. It's a pretty different gloryhole. Everything is picked and alot lot safer (than ones you see on porn sites), so I really loved that. They were each other one and only even if they only knew their fake names.
And once that secret is out between the two, Penny is the one second guessing and freaking out, not Lincoln he wants more with her he wants everything. So yeah, it takes Penny a minute to finally see what she's got. I loved that the brothers were chill and accepting they were more worried about the parents. So, there is a lot of sneaking around. And the SPICEEEE THAT GLORYHOLE!!!! 💦💦👌👌👌💦.
I loved everything in this book. It made me so giddy.
I'm wondering about the twins... I wonder if their book shall be an MFM or an MMM? Idk or separate. They are big party manwhores it's not truly shown but the party ways are.
Saftey- h did get slapped by her ex and H came to save her. H past relationship did affect him. I won't give away, but it did change him into a moody person. They are adopted cousins, not blood related, and nothing sexual happened between them until their 30s.
Low angst, no ow/om drama, no cheating, tiny drama, sexy times, no virgins

Wow holy glory hole I mean moly this book is filled with taboo, trauma, self discovery scenes!
No one does quite like Sarah Blue Queen of spicy smutty impactful plot driven stories!
Lincoln & Penny’s dynamic is a forbidden, taboo, self discovery,grumpy/sunshine romance that leaves you wanting more of them rooting for them loving their flaws!
I can’t wait to see what’s next to come for the Carlson Brothers! Definitely gripping the sheets!
I’m between two and three stars for this book. The romance came out of no where. There was no build up emotionally or really physically before they were head over heels, heart eyed for each other. There was no development either. It was really them jumping from point A to point B without any conflict or anything else that shows their connection growing.
I also did not like the MMC. To me, he was too pushy and whiny about everything. Just because he saw no problem with them being together does not negate her reasoning on being hesitant. She was afraid of losing the only family she had. His backstory with his ex went nowhere. There was a lot of build up in the beginning about their relationship but it’s like they forgot about her and how messed up he was about her just the day before.
Lastly, this follows a very similar timeline to the first book in this series and it was not my favourite choice. There was a lot of repetitive scenes and scenes that were not necessary for this story but I guess they were in because they were crucial to the previous story. Adding this to a story where I was already not believing the romance, made me feel disconnected to these characters. Some of those scene should have been cut and use the space for the two main characters to develop their relationship more.
There were some aspects I liked. This author’s books are never written poorly. I enjoyed their romance once I adjusted to the jump, and the smut scenes were very fun.
4.5⭐️ i for one absolutely adore everything sarah puts out and this was no different 😭
this is the second book in the Carlson Brothers series following Penny and Lincoln, whose relationship starts off in the wildest way possible, after each of them have some anonymous fun with complete strangers, insert the ✨glory hole✨ when not being able to stand not knowing who they were intimate with, they both get the biggest shock of their lives, surpriseeee, they slept with each other, only they both know that they are the absolute last people that should be together
this was such a fun, feel good, taboo book with unexpected surprises, freak nastyyyy smut, and emotional moments the push and pull between these two was insane😩 penny trying to resist because she doesn’t want to break up the family and lincoln being SO obsessed and bad down for her, i was eating it up!!! (my favorite genre of man, shoutout mike faist in challengers🙂↕️)
i also loved how the timelines of this book and the first one were parallel, so we were able to see the first couple’s relationship develop through someone else’s pov (which was so cute)
thank you sarah for the arc, im so excited to see what the next book will be🤭
Honestly I fucking loved. Exactly what my mind can handle at this time. Love a respectful yet determined man who takes what he wants and is sure of it and an equally vulnerable and brave queenie who march the energy with blazing chemistry. Insane blazing hot smut and chemistry no major drama and lovely character development. Reading this felt like my brain is in a spa.
This was a hit! Poor Penny has terrible taste in men, and decides to quit dating all together. So of course that’s when she stubbles across her perfect match, in a very interesting way. This forbidden romance was everything I wanted it to be!
First of all, the dedication has me cracking up! I know I can always count on Sarah for a spicy read, but this book was more than that. Penny is coming out of another failed relationship. She decides she wants to focus on herself and what she actually wants for once. She decides to explore her desires and meets Wayne through a glory hole. What she doesn’t expect is for the person on the other side of the wall to be none other than her adopted cousin, Lincoln.
I enjoyed reading this book so much. There was plenty of spice, but also so much character growth. Penny goes from feeling lost and insecure to finding herself. I did feel awful about her journey to find her birth parents. And I love how Lincoln was so sure about Penny once he found out who Honey was. Once again, Sarah is an autoread author for me!
I don't know how she does it, but Sarah Blue nails it every time.
In this taboo novel we find not blood related cousins, Penny and Lincoln who 'meet' in Avalon, the sex club, in the strangest but hottest setting I've ever read so far. Trust Sarah to make that situation incredibly erotic.
I was curious about Lincoln ever since reading Swallow our Pride, and she did him justice. I have loved how he became instantly obsessed with Penny, how much he trusted his instinct to pursue the relationship and not giving Penny any doubt about what they could be. And some of the things he said were like, wow. Penny was not the only one to fall for him. I felt empathetic toward Penny's situation. Her instinct and reasons to keep the relationship secret were understandable, but I have loved her growth in this book. How she stepped up in the end for herself and the man she loved. She wouldn't have been able to feel so empowered without Lincoln constant support.
I have loved Jessa and Aiden, but Linc and Penny have topped them!
I want to than Sarah Blue's team for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC for an honest review. And I would strongly reccomend to pick this book up on release day on June 23rd, you won't regret it.
Writing was meh, plot was meh, smut was meh, the romance is meh. Never been so thoroughly unimpressed in a while so I guess it had to happen eventually 🤣 loved that there was a QR code to see a NSFW of the scene to know what was happening though lmao
Such an amazing book. This book is so much more than the taboo storyline of cousins getting it on.
Penny is trying to find her place in the world. She was placed for adoption as a baby and while she was adopted into an amazing and truly loving family, she finds something missing. Constantly dating awful men who give her crumbs of attention, a career going nowhere, and wanting to find her birth parents - Penny is a mess.
“I'm so sick and tired of being the girl who changes who she is to adapt to a man. I'm ready to do something just for me. It might not be in the form of me figuring out what I want to do with my life or truly getting my shit together, but despite that, it feels like a start.”
Penny decides to become a member to a sex club and remain anonymous.. and use a glory hole exclusively.
In the other hand, Lincoln is tired of female attention after his was burned hard from his ex. He wants no strings attached sex. Doesn’t even want to see their face. A sex club with a female glory hole sounds perfect.
You can see where this is going.. 😜🌶️
While this book definitely has spice, both of these characters are flawed and are on their own healing journey of love and forgiveness. Are they cousins by adoption? Yes they are. But they find love and comfort with each other and it’s not really as taboo when you watch them heal one another.
“Your Alabama secret is safe with me.”
I found myself laughing at so many points of this book. The found family trope is great in this storyline.
When the relationship is new, it’s definitely kept a secret.
"Please don't break my heart or take away my family," she says, looking down.”
"We need to make sure we work before we can't take it back." "Penny, you already know we're in too deep."
It’s quite the love story. To take a chance on a unconventional relationship and coming out to the family that raised both of you. I personally loved it. I found it really well written. As someone who’s married to a man that was adopted by a loving family yet yearning to find birth parents and not getting the answers you wanted - it’s all realistic and tastefully written. Well done Sarah Blue. 🖤
4.25 stars - i ate this up the forbidden aspect and the push and pull between them agh !! so if you want to read a good emotional taboo romance then go with this book lol. so they are like cousins but not by blood and they have anonymous sexual encounters in a club but don‘t know who the person on the other side is and then it of course comes out and she fights it but he wants her even if she is his adoptive cousin and that’s everything you need to know …
Penny and Lincoln were a bit of opposites attract. Penny, the hopeless romantic, who comes off as happy and all sunshine to everyone else in the world. Lincoln is the relationship hater, doesn’t want anyone who is going to be clingy, and is grumpy all the time.
What was supposed to be an anonymous encounter at the local club, turns into both wanting more.
There is a lot of push and pull in this book. You’ll be frustrated and heartbroken one moment, swooning the next. It was just a really wonderful but complicated romance.
{📖🤓} {ARC Review} ~⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐~ Forget your Morals 🍊 The Carlson Brothers ~Book #2~ {Sarah Blue} @sarahblueauthor
Let me start with how I was unable to put this book down. I was hooked on Lincoln & Penny’s story from beginning to end. I loved the build-up for them, the tension, the spice, and how utterly perfect they are for each other.
It's not often people find the perfect person who can bring the best out in one another and these two are very lucky to find it. The push and pull these two have for each other. I honestly loved every minute. It's so good, I loved this story and I love the couple. I thought Aiden was the number one Carlson brother but man was I ever wrong. I see you Lincoln, you surprised me but I see you now. Penny you lucky girl.
Like I said, another amazing read from Sarah, and am I surprised? No, not at all. I've read every one of Sarah's books and they just keep getting better and better. I can't wait for more.
✨Book Review✨ Forget Your Morals Author: Sarah Blue Rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
“ She tastes like the Best worst idea I’ve ever had. “
Synopsis: Penny seeks solace in anonymous encounters after a string of failed relationships. She falls for a man at an adult club, captivated by their secret connection. But when she discovers that the man she’s been seeing is actually Lincoln, her older adopted cousin, everything changes. Torn between the intense love they share and the fear of losing her family, Penny faces an impossible choice—one that could shatter both her heart and the bonds that tie her to those she loves.
Tropes : 🤎Forbidden Romance 🤎Taboo 🤎Adopted Cousins 🤎Anonymous Encounter 🤎Glory Hole 🤎Role Playing 🤎He falls first 🤎Secret Dating
This book was captivating, to say the least. I felt for Penny feeling like a burden to her family. Searching for herself in a relationship that would obviously fail. When Penny said she falls for anyone I thought a sex club probably wasn’t the best idea. But I think it was the freedom of no judgment even though she did fall for the guy behind the wall. I am so glad this book had substance and plot not only smut. I loved how Lincoln cared for and supported Penny. It showed that the relationship was much more than just sex for him. When they finally found out it was each other I was shook. This book definitely blurred the lines since they grew up together but Sarah does a great job of making their relationship not feel taboo. This was a wild ride and I can’t wait to pick up more from this author.
"She tastes like the best worst idea I’ve ever had."
There are two things I can always count on! 1. If Sarah writes it, I'm going to love it. 2. The Spice will be spicyyy!
How does Sarah Blue always bring the heat!!!! My gosh!!! I really should have known too!
When a book dedication starts with: To the amount of gl*ry h**e research done for this book. You’re welcome.
I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!
And then a QR code for those of us who are VISUAL learners! 🔥🔥
I absolutely devoured this book! And the number of times I had to pause and grab my husband... was insane!
As spicy as this book was... it was incredibly well balanced! The plot was perfection!
Both Penny and Lincoln are heartbreakingly lost but find exactly what they need in each other. Even though it's unconventional, they can't seem to stop thinking about each other. I loved watching them let go with one another!
"Penny makes the world go quiet, and I’m not sure how to handle that information."
I absolutely adored Lincoln! He was possessive and knew exactly what he wanted!! And the way he was constantly talking her up! 🥰 The way this man loved her!
“I’d choose you, Penny.”
I understood exactly why Penny was so appreciative! She definitely had more to lose than Lincoln did! And everything she went through during the book! I'd be reluctant, too!
"Lincoln has chosen me repeatedly, and all he’s asked for is the same in return. I hope he can sense what I feel, that I’m willing to risk it all for him, too."
I absolutely loved watching Penny and Lincoln navigating their not so conventional relationship! Where it was going through Penny's checklist or celebrating each other's wins! This book was so wholesome in a very different sort of way!!
MF// adopted cousins// roleplay// grumpy/sunshine, etc.
The storyline was quick, but, not too quick to where you felt rushed, thinking that the feelings between the MCs weren’t genuine. The writing is great. Super easy read with witty, lighthearted banter that’s filled with angst! The MCs balanced each other out so well.
Damn that was good. Better than the first book and I ate that up! I am eager to see what those twins are up to! And, fun fact, I learned a new dirty term thanks to this book! 💁♀️
“You’re too bright to be hidden away, Lincoln Carlson.”
Is this book steamy? Yes. Is this book taboo? Absolutely. Is it also one of the sweetest soulmates books I’ve ever read ever? Also yes. Yes it’s romance, so Penny and Lincoln were legitimately written for each other, but their love is so supportive and sweet. Yes, there’s a bit of tension between them at first because their dynamic is different, but the way their relationships changes and grows. Now reminder, this does follow a taboo trope as Penny is Lincoln’s adopted cousin. It does come in to play, but honestly at some point I stopped caring and was just rooting for their love. They were exactly what each other needed and I couldn’t help but root for their HEA.
Where do I sign up for a Carlson brother? I'd really love one, pleaseandthankyou. Lincoln was amazing. And I loved watching Aiden and Jessa fall in love again through his and Penny's eyes. This book was so sweet and spicy and everything I was hoping for with this kissing cousins story.
The little broken pieces of these two had me holding them close to my heart. They were so perfect for each other in all these little ways and I was so happy they found each other.
And the way they found each other?! Perfect. Hot. Incredible. Did I mention hot? I didn't know heart glory holes were a thing, but imagining Penny squeezing into one of them did things to me *nervous laugh* I really hope we head back to Avalon with Gavin and Ben, I'm certainly not ready to leave.
Speaking of the wild twins. I've got my fingers crossed for an MFM romance with them, especially after that amazing Eiffel Tower joke Sarah through in there. Either way, I'll be so excited to be back in Florida with this amazing family.
