We were introduced to the infamous Carmen Vasquez and Insane in the ‘Who do you luv’ series. By the time we got to watch the way these two interacted with each other in ‘Christmas Luvin’ last December, I think we were all excited to see what spark could form between the two of them.
Carmen Vasquez was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. A real Georgia peach. With a Mexican father, and a black mother, she has such a spice to her, which forces people to either love or hate her. She grew up in wealth, but that didn’t stop her from always finding interest in those bad boys, who were from the other side. The other side is where she meets her baby father, Ramonte. This dynamic is so toxic and unhealthy, which is one of the biggest reasons that sent Carmen running to Miami, Fl for a new life to start with her daughter, Sofia. In Miami, is where Insane is, and honestly, there’s more drama there too.
Arquavious, better known as Insane is the most handsome, thugged out, trash talker, piece of addiction that you’ll ever meet. Many women love him, but none have ever been successful on getting that love back from him in return. He’s real particular on who he chooses to give his heart to, and he lacks trust, which is why he’s never loved, or been in love. Insane & Carmen
I wanted more Insane and Carmen! We can see they have an insane sexual chemistry but I’m ready for the FEELINGS 🖤 There were a couple different storylines going on but the one that has my attention? Emilia. Like…girl?!
There were a few things that were predictable to me but still a good first book in this series.

Great read, I loved everything about this book. I want to see Carmen happy I really do and I believe that her and Insane will make a great couple hands down especially once he gets rid of Kalisha simple tale. I want Montana to go ahead and handle Emmett because something isn’t right with him at all . Emilia and Ramonte is definitely wrong for playing with Carmen like that a whole baby is crazy to me. I love Bri and pee-wee I believe that Bri is pregnant though. I can’t wait for the next book.

I’m so happy to get a book on these new characters in this World Series especially updates on Montana and Alicia and Bria and pee-wee it’s littt. It’s so much happy life, black love and just overall growth even w the little dramas on the side and if my sis Bria is what we all know she is it’s set from here because we been banking on it from they started this relationship 🤣. Now Carmen and Insane they are a special set of people they both got the right loose screws for each other because ain’t no way the stuff they did is okay lol. I hope to see them win and all that trifling stuff that’s been going on around them be handled because I’m in disbelief myself with some of the things happening. I really enjoyed this read and now lovingly and impatiently waiting for book 2 and 3.

I didn’t get far. It was probably an amazing book especially with multiple books. However I can’t get into a book with 5+ pages of internal dialogue then one or two sentences of actual dialogue (then repeat) between people. The first 33 pages I felt like I was been told the story as I was reading. My personal preference when reading is to feel like I standing right in the middle of the action.

I was tempted to put this down several times but I finally got through it. I keep waiting for something go happen but still no. I'm wondering where is this going? I'm gonna read pat 2 because I've already got it. Fingers crossed for the story to pick up.

Insane & Carmen 🔥🔥🔥
I love Diamond and have been a fan of her work since I read Daddy’s Girls and Beretta’s World. So I’m use to her writing style and her books having multiple point of views and other stories going on at the same time.
I was hyped to read Carmen and Insane story, but once I started reading Insane 4 U I was slightly disappointed.
I love Carmen and Insane chemistry together. The intimacy of their deep conversations and how they vibe together. I would have loved to get more of Carmen and Insane point of view and the new characters surrounding them versus us following up with old characters.
Alecia and Montana have had their story. While I do enjoy them it’s time to give them a rest. It’s ok to show a glimpse of them but for them to take up so much of the book and it’s not even about them is a bit much.
Hopefully book two focuses more on Insane and Carmen and the characters surrounding them such as Dashay, Emilia, June, Kalisha etc.

This book was ultimately unrealistic and disappointing. The language and tone of the main character did not reflect what one would reasonably expect from a person raised in an educated and affluent household, particularly within communities in the American South. These cultures often emphasize respect, formality, and a strong sense of familial and communal responsibility. The character’s voice lacked the authenticity and nuance typically associated with such an upbringing, especially considering the region’s rich respectful traditions and cultural values. As a result, the portrayal felt shallow and unconvincing, which significantly weakened the story’s credibility.
While the author clearly aimed to deliver an emotionally charged and sensational narrative, the over-reliance on melodrama and superficial detail gave the book the feel of low-brow entertainment rather than thoughtful literature.

A Whole Mess!!
Girl, Carmen should beat the breaks off Emilia when she drop her load. Didn't nobody tell her to fall in love with her trash a** baby daddy. Ramonte ain't going to every change, he is going to be there for his kid and you're still going to be a baby mama cause she's not the one he wants. Anyway he's still in love with Carmen. Bria is pregnant but we already knew that. Kalishia might as well expect that her sex partner is gone. She lost him and Urick it up to something he's been quiet for to long. Something deadly is going to happen between the four of them. It ain't going to be pretty. And Emmett goofy a** is trying to threaten Montana, I feel sorry for him. Poor Kolby he started something he wasn't even aware of. Insane is going to end him. Carmen and Insane are Insane for each other.

Insane for you!!! I knew this book was going to be good!
All my favorites OMG , aside from Sage & Taliban .. yeaaaa I just knew Insane & Carmen were going to be spicy and boy the drama, messy continues it always a trifling one smh! I did not want to put this down, it kept running through my mind all day when I had to take a break!
Insane & Carmen just sexy! They’re going take me on a rideee I know it! Insane presence just unmatched and Carm the way she is stepping ( perfect match) 🤤
Bria & peewee every time they grace the page I’m just smiling !! BRIA was on her grown women ish in this book & pee wee fly s*** only! THAT couple period! 😍🙌🏽

Am Absolute Must Read
Carmen is my girl she is all about getting her life together for her and her daughter and leaving the toxicity of her relationship with her baby daddy Ramonte in the past. Moving to Miami has been going okay she has had a few mishaps to happen but all in all hooking up with Insane is going to be an explosive relationship, they both match each others crazy level.
Things have definitely turned up a notch with that I can’t wait too see how it all plays out because Carmen needs to beat the breaks off of Ramonte and Emilia trifling behinds.
There are so many other players in this book who all have a story to tell but I don’t want to give to much away. However I would recommend that you download this book and delve into the lives of this crew..

Insane is an ish talker and had me rolling! However, homie had a rough life and just the home environment between his parents were toxic. His entire family IMHO needs therapy!
Carmen cousin and BD shady, and it’s the principle of the matter. Just grimy AF! I got no more words for those two grimy individuals, but believe it or not it is so common SMH! They will get what’s coming to them!
Montana is still my fave and his love for his wife and son is swoon worthy. Pee-Wee love for Bria is indescribable, and they so cute together!
Montana “friend” from around the way was bold with it, and sometimes you need to shake off old “friends”, because they just want to start ish! He don’t know who he’s messing with regarding my bae Montana!

Carmen and Insane have been thru ups and down and deal with darma and. Carmen Vasquez was strong and Independent and a great mom just trying to make way for her and her daughter Sofia.
Finally left Atlanta to get away from her toxic baby father Ramonte
who didn't have his daughter best interest. She was attracted to Insane but they had a love hate relationship. Then to make matters worse her closest cousin Emilia has ultimately betrayed her in the coldest way she been creeping with her toxic baby father Ramonte. And now she pregnant with son when that secret affair comes out all heck gong to break lose. Insane and Carmen already have a lot of darma going on can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Part 1
Sooo it took me forever to read this series but I knew it would be bomb. I loved the hood ish for sure no matter how legit these men goes someone always bring out that gangsta. Pee-wee and Bri are my favorite but Insane and Carmen are definitely close runners-up. The way they are with each other just has me sooo giddy for real. Carmen is feisty and ain't taking no ish and Insane is his name for real. I see the drama that is coming especially with Emmett, Urick and Emilia and Ramonte. Those two are really something else. They both know they are wrong but will not be able to get out of this. The next two parts are gonna be crazyy!! But the thing they cam count on is they have each other's back.

Diamond brought back my favorite couples! Family sometimes be the main ones to betray you! Williams ain't ish, Carmen is a family and they're close so her betrayal is the worst! I can't wait to see where Carmen and Insane relationship go, I have a feeling though, they will have to go through the trenches , due to jealousy! Montana & Alicia continue to be one of my favorite couples, but Montana will need to deal with an old friend, thus Take is going to come out and I'm here for it! Brian and prepare are so cute! I'm on pins and not needles for part 2, because Williams need to be found out!

Disappointed
I enjoyed reading Insane and Carmen story. Carmen started out strong and seemed like a well put together strong lady until she started doing high school petty shit with Kalisha. Her childless behavior really turned me off. I’m still loving Bria and PeeWee and Alicia and Montana’s relationship. Don’t really care for the direction Carmen and Emilia’s is going. That mess is so foul and wish the author would have taken a different route. The same for Montana and Emmett, and Insane and Urick. Let these men be strong and work through their differences in a healthy manner.

First let me start by saying I Love this author however I have be honest , I was expecting more. I had been wanting to read about Insane and Carmen every since I found out they were getting their own book but sadly I didn’t feel a real connection between them. I was glad to hear from Bria and Peewee I love them but I could have did without Tana and Alecia although I love them also but I felt like the previous characters who had they own books took away from Insane and Carmen’s story. I still love Diamond so I’m definitely going to support this series!Side bar I can’t wait until Carmen find out about her no good baby daddy and cousin.

Great per usual… I love Insane for Carmen, they have a lot of the same mindsets, she hasn’t been through what he has but they have some traumas o feel they would be able to help each other overcome. It’s good to see Montana and his mother mending their relationship, Bria and PeeWee about to find out what parenting is like for themselves it sounds like… this book is sooo good I hate to see it pause, but it’s cool all things worth waiting for don’t come fast or easy… wonderful job Diamond

Now see, Emilia definitely knows she is in a pickle!!!...I love me some PeeWee and Bria...Marcellus done called Brian out and I know her mind is in overdrive right now!!!...Montana is definitely getting n ready to put those shoes back on!!!...Funny how Montana friend told him to not forget he know him, but he didn't hesitate to threaten him....Montana going to bring all the smoke!!!...Insane and Carmen are too cute though!!!..Can't wait til Carmen find out how dirty her cousin and baby daddy is!!!...

I swear Diamond has a way of ending these books like this. I so badly want Carmen to hurry up and find out what her cousin has been doing behind her back so she can end all communication with her. Insane and Carmen are something else, but I love them together. Now, all they have to do is make it official. I knew once I was reading that Bria had to be pregnant and for Handsome to confirm it was all I needed to know and once Pee-Wee finds out I just know he going to be overjoyed because he's been wanting this since forever. Carmen deserves to know the truth about Emilia and Ramonte. They are beyond trifling for sleeping together. Carmen deserves happiness and I think Insane will provide that for her as well as Sofia. Pee Wee will finally get his wish. I do believe Bria got pregnant on their trip. It's good to see everyone still happy. Montana will have to step back to his old ways to deal with Emmet. Can't wait to read part two. Job well done!

Oh it's gonna be a mess and I can't wait. Diamond you deserved all the awards that you received at the Gem Awards. These folks are cutting up. I love Insane and Carmen together. But when she finds out about this baby daddy and her cousin it's gonna be some smoke baby. Bria is so cute. She know her butt is pregnant and Peewee got his wish. A great book and a must read

First you wrong for ended this story like this how long until book 2! I hope Emilia and Ramontae get caught cause they dirty ! I love Carmen and Insane together but they need to watch out for Urick and Kalisha seem crazy. I also can’t wait for bri to see what we all see for her and pee wee and Montana and Alecia adorable as always! I hope Dashay finds herself and love for her daughters Fr tho
