Borrowed this from the library just to give me something to fill my sketchbook and to gain a better idea of horse proportions and anatomy. This book is aimed at children, so it doesn't go into detail about the skeleton and muscles, but it gets the job done for understanding basic shapes. The tip about the head to height and body length ratio was especially helpful. Now I don't draw any pinheaded, giraffe-like horses, haha. I would have liked to see several more exercises in this book to practice from.
