Writing is a way to make a lot of different people do exactly what you want them to do. When I can’t get my toddler to listen to me, I turn to my characters. They always cooperate!

I currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina with my husband and seven year old son. I have perfected the ability to write in a noisy house and create story lines while folding laundry.

Ten Things to know about me:

1. I have a fear of whales. All whales. The noise they make. The sight of them (even on tv). I don't think this phobia has a name and I've never met anyone else who feels this way. I blame it on the 3D movie when I was 7 at the Boston Museum of Science. (Thanks Dad.)

2. When I get hungry it brings out the worst in me. My friends and family know to keep me well fed. They pack snacks now.

3. I can cook but not bake. Not even a little. Not even a box of brownies.

4. If there is a song I like it is normal to hear me listening to it a hundred times (give or take) in a row.

5. I do not, under any circumstances, read directions. Who has time for that? Making mac & cheese by the seat of my pants for the last 25 years.

6. Like a black-out drunk, I have lost hours of my life mysteriously to Pinterest. If you haven't tried it yet... don't. Save your self.

7. Before I became a mother, lots of things grossed me out. Now nothing does.

8. My favorite food is food... my least favorite food is no food. I love food. (apply the same rule to wine)

9. I do not have a green thumb. I have the kind of thumb that kills any type of plant ever given to me. Whatever kind of thumb that is... I have it.

10. Writing has changed my life. Not just the career it's created but the way I feel when I write. If you have something you love to do I hope you get the opportunity to do it.

Decently written and decent story. Decent seems to be the highest compliment I can give these two books. My biggest peeve is that they are not stand-alone books but rather one larger book separated for no apparent reason. There is no conclusion but rather a soap opera type finish goading you into buying the next episode, that's really lame.

This is terrible, even for a romance book that I got for free. This was so bad that I could only read the first one--they're more like two novellas in length.

The characters have no depth, you feel nothing for the man Devin and are completely confused when he suddenly becomes this good guy! One minute he's plotting the downfall of the town and not caring about anyone, then on the next page he has planned and is carrying out this ridiculously cliched and superficial Christmas experience for the woman and her daughter. This daughter is straight from some Hallmark card with zero personality.
The singular sex scene is also horrible.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

I downloaded this book after seeing a link to it being free on Amazon, and what an unexpected surprise it was. The suspense filled story through books one and two had me hooked. It's a story of corruption, betrayal, revenge and lost love. And what a fantastic set of characters it has in it. But... You have to buy book three to find out how it ends. Trust me, it's worth it!

Devin arrives back on Clover, set on revenge, only to find out that everything isn't as he expected or believed. Throw in a bad guy who refuses to quit, a lost love who's fallen on hard times and a security guy who doesn't always follow the rules and you're in for a really enjoyable read.

A couple of the pairings could come across as cheesy and quick, but they don't. The characters grow on you so quickly, you want them all to have a HEA, but there's a huge obstacle in the way for them all.

This book isn't just about the people, and a town struggling to free itself from corruption, it's a book about community, family and doing what's right rather than what's easy.

Please note the story doesn't finish until book three,

I read the first novella and started the second, but I just couldn't finish this. Besides being stilted and flat, the author obviously did no research into the office of Sheriff in NC or she would have realized that just because a town chooses to establish their own police force does not in any way remove an elected sheriff or his constitutionally granted powers. Since this was a basic premise of Devin's "revenge" it completely ruined any ability I might have had to suspend disbelief and enjoy the story.

I am so in Love with this Author and her Amazing stories. To top it off The Heart of Clover (Book 1 & 2) are free on Amazon.
Young love is amazing and terrifying at the same time. Throw in a cover up, wrongful imprisonment and Revenge you get an amazing story. At time you just want to shake Devin and yell….
look at what is in front of you. Don’t let the past rule your future. This is your chance to get your happy ever after with your soul mate.
Rebecca is a strong, giving and loving woman. Since the day her soul mate was taken away she never given up hope and she saved half her heart for Devin. Hoping one day her heart would be whole again.

Romantic read filled with suspense.

Devin loses everything - his freedom, his first love, his belief in justice.
He returns to Clover with a vengeance to right wrongs, to show the town of Clover his power and ability to destroy.
But, things are not what they seem - the heart and conscience come into play.

I understood Devin, had great empathy for him & the town of Clover - well written, great, wonderful character development and storyline

Great books and a great value in the bundle. What a crazy, funny, lovable group of misfits that somehow make it work, despite all their fears and mistrust. I will look for more from Michelle Stewart.

Half of my heart-an engaging, well written story about a man seeking revenge who is reacquainted with his first love while on a quest for revenge. Danielle Stewart never disappoints. I highly recommend this book.

Change my heart-this book picks up where half of my heart left off. It is an action packed suspense novel. Change my heart delves into the age old question regarding the possibility of love changing a person. But it isnt just a sappy love story that is easy to pin down. Danielle Stewart keeps you guessing. Don't bother trying to figure out which way the story will go. She keeps you on your toes in the best way.

These books have it all! Intrigue, love, who done it, family and never ending friendships.
Devin is a great character and is someone we all could know. Things went wrong and he fought through the bitterness to find himself on the other side with Rebecca by his side.
The friendships that become family are heartwarming.
From Luke and Olivia, Click and Jordan and a crazy Italian family, When you read Danielle Stewart’s books it’s liking making new friends.

Devin planned his revenge on the town of Clover for some time, but he didn't expect his teenage love to still live there. Now he's not so sure any more. He wants to win Rebecca back and is torn between his love for her and his rage against the mistreatment he got eleven years before.
The town's Sheriff is still in charge and has the power to destroy the town of Clover with all his criminal deeds.

I wish the complete series would be in this book because I really hate cliffhangers.

the love story starts sweet, continues with a tragic mistake and hopefully will end with HEA in the next book.
I like the narrator, but I think such a story, told through several POVs, would have benefited from the use of multiple narrators - at least one for all the female characters and one for the male characters.
I received this audiobook at my request and I voluntarily wrote a review.

Great plot with strong characters. The ever changing POV made this more difficult to understand. This was not totally sweet, and the sex scenes were short and not necessary. The final thing that killed this series for me was the part that had no ending.
