After a betrayal between Kingdoms, Oriel finds himself torn down from his position of Crown Prince, collared, named as a traitor, and sold. He’s lost his Kingdom, birthright, family, innocence, and the only man he ever thought he’d love. Trapped with his new Master, Roth Delwin, Oriel is sure he’ll lose what’s left of himself. The cat fairy is beautiful with his red hair and ears, but he’s vicious with his new toy. The Delwin family has a score to settle with the Keepers, and Oriel will have to pay for it.
Aspen, further betrayed by Oriel on the night West Bay fell, is torn between love and hate of the prior Crown Prince. When he finds himself in a position higher than he ever thought possible, he knows it won’t fix his broken mind. Nobody will want him now, and he might as well have perished on the ship. All he wants is the summer he had with Oriel two years ago, but how can Aspen ever trust him again?
This book contains dark content for mature readers. They're fairies, but they're certainly not skipping through a glen filled with sunshine and rainbows. While this is dark romance and good for fans of Captive Prince, there is a HEA, a smexy cat boy with red hair and cute red ears, some sweetness, and perhaps a few familiar faces from other novels.
Potential spoilers ahead. This has a HEA between three males, but the road to get there is rough. Oriel is a demisexual biromantic male. Kalen is homoromantic asexual (apothisexual), and Rhys is a biromantic asexual.

Having read a few books of this author, I had an idea of what to expect. In this one she takes its to the next level. It’s a bit more darker but I was captivated by the story of Oriel and Aspen. I kept wondering if they would escape the horrors that await them.
Not for everyone but well written book with a satisfying end.
Interesting storyline i really enjoyed how Oriel was captured that was well plotted. Although the story was a bit confusing for me. When I hear fairies I expect Tinkerbell humanoid little creatures with sparkling wings but in this book it was a bit different, they even had tails some horns. And I couldn't tell who was a fairy and who was not. Was Oriel a fairy or Aspen a fairy? But apart from all that I enjoyed the storyline and it would have been the best if the sex was male and female.
This book started with a quite bit of angst and painful journey for the MCs which I had to pause a few times. Then their rates have turned with a lot of hard earned victories and revenges. Through the journey MCs found their happiness. Quite an emotional ride and totally worth reading the book!
These trio made it hard to put down. Everything start to finish had me hooked.
They had some super rough moments, but I read the trigger warning page and was prepared. I like that this authors warns people of what to expect which is important.
Even better, the trio gets through them but they're not "magically cured" which ads to the realism and make rhe characters seem more fleshed out.
But if I had to pick a favorite, I'd say Aspen. Yes, I loved the ace rep in Oriel since this author seems to like rep different sexualities and such, and I loved Roth with his cat ears, but Aspen grew a lot, and he feels special to me.
I enjoyed this a lot - Roth's a great new addition. Aspen never believing Oriel while being quite happy to believe other people () was super frustrating. Also, I still think Oriel's family were atrocious for knowing how upset he was about the Aspen situation, and carrying on regardless.
I've never read MMM romance before and so I decided to be adventurous. I have to admit it wasn't quite my cup of tea. I prefer Julie's books that are just MM. This being said, it was still very well written, and I still read to the end as she made characters to whom I wanted to know what happened to them. Well worth the read if you're into this kind of writing.
Amazing. This definitely had some savage moments, and the characters went through hell (there's r@pe, so watch that list of tws) but this author always pulls them through and the ending was so satisfying.
I loved Oriel being demisexual and this being a throuple. Roth fit in perfectly with his little neko self (cat fairies here).
The ending was sort of like the beginning of a Touch of Innocence (except better). I won't spoil it, but if you read that and then Savagery, you'll see.
I was glued to this. A touch of Innocence was short and two years before so I couldn't wait to see what happened between Aspen and Oriel. Roth was the perfect extra (those ears). I'm sad it's done now. ,_,
I'm so sorry the first chapter contains rape. That's a hard no from me. Please check the trigger warnings ⚠️ if I had known I'd never have touched it. I couldnt even tell what the plot was about due to that scene.
Really dark (check the tws cause there is r@p3) but soooo good. I loved the path they took and how they got to the end together despite all the bad stuff. Adding Roth in their relationship also felt really organic (i think that’s the word? lol). Like, it was wasn't forced. I loved it so much
Oriel was my favorite. This dark, gritty story had me wanting to hug the characters. The trauma was handled well, and Roth was the glue that helped. Sometimes mm turned mmm isn't that great, and the third feels...awkward I guess? This wasn't awkward at all.
So this was ok. I liked the MCs in the end and the overall storyline was interning. I would have liked more world building and background, and there were some things that weren’t fleshed out enough for me.
Maybe it's my fault for not reading previous books in the series, but there was so much going on that I had a hard time following. It felt like scenes jumped around so much, and I was left confused about what was going on or who was doing what.
The writing style is very imaginative, mysterious, full of twists & turns which draws the intense reading experience containing quick thinking prompts that are captivating.

This was a much more in-depth tale and I loved it. You really get lost in the world the writer creates and you love and hate some of the characters in equal measure. A dark tale, but a cool one.
I pre-ordered a d lost sleep to devour this. There's definitely a of tws, and the authors warns you. The captive prince gives had me hooked, and the story in this did too, but it goes beyond that with a third in the mix. Roth seemed so wicked, but it wasnt hard to fall in love with him later. Spoilers kinda
As someone who's experienced their share of trauma, I can say it was handled respectfully. Reading this kind of book helps so I don't feel so alone, and I feel the varying aspects of their feelings was well described and made sense to their characters. I felt like I could relate to them which is really important to me.
Also, I liked how this book took a bit of a different direction then some I've read. Growing comfortable with sexual things isn't the same for everyone, and Aspen showed that. You don't have to be "fixed" and engage in full on s*x with penetration. You can also be okay with kinks, and stuff like what they went through doesn't have to ruin your future enjoyment. Thats why I liked Roth because he wasn't pushy later with either. Having partner like that is sooo important, and the way all three melded together made me feel all kinds of ways
Thats my thoughts from someone with experiences. Maybe others won't think that but I do. Roth said stuff about having control handed back and I felt like he got me even though he's not real.
I'll probably read this one again. The touch pairing is a favorite now
