Don't waste your time on this book. It was written by a man who purported himself to be a man doing "God's" work but who was a sexual predator. I did not know what this book was about or that it would be mostly religiosity from a man who was in love with his own voice.
Bo Lozoff's collection of short stories are primarily focused upon the topic of religion. But if you were assuming Lozoff was only interested in Christianity or Catholicism, you'd be wrong. Other religions are also represented very well, from Buddhists to Muslims, to a Reverend who has become desensitized with the sub-grouping of religions in general. What Lozoff means in this collection is God is great, and he represents the unity in religion. Though the topic is heavy-handed, Lozoff never feels as though his writing could be characterized as 'preaching.' If you have an open mind, you will enjoy Lozoff's writing.
