“I devoured this book! Honestly, I couldn't wait for it to drop into my Kindle. I'd been following it from idea conception through all the bumps and bruises. To be able to read it all in one sitting was absolutely a fangirl moment.” — Azzyandherbooks (Amazon)
“This is the first book of Kenna's that I have read, and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The chemistry between Sienna and Everett was off the charts!” — shedevilreads (Amazon)
“Well she did it again!!! If you want a spooky Halloween read , here is a great one! I’ve never wanted to play in a mirror maze more!!! All the spicy fun!” — Richard S (Amazon)
I only know her through other friends. I don't know why, but every time I see her there's this feeling swirling inside. I can't stop looking for her in everything. I should tell her...
I'm intuitive. I can feel that pull to her. Aimee is everything that I've been searching the stars for. If only she'd tell me she feels the same...

So this one is short. Not much of a story. I felt like it only grazed the surface and when it ended I felt like I read an email. Which is sad bc I read the acknowledgments and this was based on the authors own experiences in a way so I was hoping for more of a story. There was really no background or depth in the characters. Like there really wasn’t much of a story here. I know you get background text of these characters in the first novella but I felt like we got more of an update on the first couple than this couple. This novella is lacking and I know it’s a novella. It’s supposed to be short and sweet but like I still need something and this was giving nothing.
Milkshakes, cotton candy, cute first kisses, and witchy vibes. What more do you need?!
Girl knows how to write an insta-love story like nobody else. The characters are just as lovable as any of their other books. She creates characters that you can love as if they were your own friends.
Aimee and Lane are so cute and adorable I just wanna squish them. This short and sweet book packs a punch with the spice. It’s not as kinky and devious as All Hallows Haunt. This book is more of an adorable insta-love with some spice sprinkled in. I loved watching Aimee find her self in her sexuality. I giggled and got butterflies while reading how freaking cute and nervous both girls were. It was like being on a first date with them.
No matter what Kenna gives me it will be a hit and I will adore her writing and her characters till the end of time.
MY GOODNESS I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.. I HAVE MISSED SAPPHIC LOVE SO MUCH😭
AIMME AND LANE ARE MY ROMAN EMPIRE😭
i don't think ive ever felt so emotional & so in love with characters in such a long time. every single part of this book is me.. from the tarot readings,to the crystals,to the beautiful costumes to lane wearing purple (my favourite colour) i can't even cope with how much i loved this book. i need every variation, every signed copy, ever special edition, every artwork.. i need it all because i think these two may be my roman empire until the dawn of time.. i am so emotional after this book. it's perfect.
infinity isn't enough of a rating for these too,i can't rate it highly enough,it ticks every single box.. from writing,to length,to pace,it is all perfect, kenna created such beautiful stories in this series, ive loved everett and sienna,i have loved aimee & lanes story, love the chemistry between matt and eli too.. no spoilers because you have to expierence the magic, especially in this book. so honestly just trust me on this one. it's perfect🥹
shall we rate?🥹
characters? ♾️⭐️ aimee and lane will hold a place in my heart forever, lane is everything i look for in a character and a person irl,she is everything i would want to be. they are perfect, aimee's character development by far is the best, seeing her confidence grow, her admiration for lane grow, seeing her finding HER. it is a beautiful story that although is fiction would make the perfect irl love story. they have the perfect love story, the characters are literally perfect for each other. confidence x shyness • security in one self x naive and unsure • wanting to be loved x enamoured by her.. it is perfect!
plot? ♾️⭐️ the plot is my favourite,i think it's the nature of it,the tarot reading, the carnival, the halloween nature, the cross over in timelines between the books,it feels like you're feeling it all unfold together,it is beautiful in every single way🥹 it speaks to me as a person so this plot i would happily read if kenna wrote this an 800 page book she will have me first in the que for this,i promise you that🥰
spice? 🌶️🌶️🌶️ you can't beat sapphic spice imo,it's just so passionate and raw,it feels like you're a fly on the wall, you can almost feel the love and passion from aimee and lane through the pages. but this spice just feels special, because it was so magical for both of our characters,it felt like coming home for both of them and for us as readers. my heart can't take this🥹
overall? ♾️⭐️ infinity isn't enough for aimee and lane and it never will be,the most beautiful girls, with the most beautiful story. i have no complaints,i would never find complaints with kenna's work anyways i love her writing with my whole heart (if she ever opens up her team i will be there.. standing front and centre reporting for duty) but this story is perfect for me. and what i love. it reminds me why i love so much of dark romance, its perfect. perfect. i'm saying nothing else. it's just perfect.
KB has done it once again! I've loved all of Kenna's books so far, and All Hallows Hex is no exception to this rule. If you love a short and speedy romance read, this is definitely one of my top recommendations!
Going into this book, I thought I would find something more akin to what All Hallows' Haunt was - which is to say shameless kinkiness from the cutest insta-couple I've read yet - and even though that isn't quite what I got, I was far from disappointed in what I did get to read about!
All Hallows' Hex burned faster than my house, and there's nothing I love more in times of stress than having a romance where we skip over the pining stage and get straight to having an adorable couple that's instantly together without feeling like I'm sacrificing the intensity of the couple's feelings for each other.
In comparison to KB's other books, this is definitely my third favorite (the first two being Dead Man's Wish and Kisses From Cupid), and a large part of that, I think, is that I had a novel or novella before them where I got to know the couples a little more and spend some extra time with them, so hopefully KB plans to write a follow-up the way she did with All Hallows' Haunt, and I have something else to read with these two characters!
The only thing keeping this from being a five-star review was the handful of grammar things that I noticed (e.g. missing or wrong words) and caused me to need to reread the sentence, but as someone who's frequently turned down a book because of grammatical errors, there wasn't anything that kept my mind from clarifying quickly enough that I could no longer enjoy the story!
Honestly, the only reason I wouldn't recommend this book to you is if you enjoy a more slow-burn style of writing, as this book is heavy on the insta-love. (Though, the two characters have known each other for a while before the book, so if your turn-off is them only having met that day, this isn't the book to worry about that in.)
THIS IS AN ARC I RECIEVED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW. MY REVIEW WILL NOT BE SWAYED BY THIS FACT. The Song: Sister by K. Flay The Tropes ✔️ queer and bisexual representation ✔️ past character cameos ✔️ wlw ✔️ insta-lust
The Characters Lanie: I loved Lanie's character so much. Her character had such wonderful representation and I feel like she was made to help Delta and I feel more seen around this time of year. (I know that was NOT the purpose but still) Amiee: Aimee, you precious bean. I get her struggle with sexuality so so so much. I went through and still go through the same exact thing so this character hit hard for me.
The Things I Loved I adored the cameos from our past and future lovers so so so much. I love how it all came together.
The Things I Didn't Love I almost felt like this was more about the cameos than it was about Lanie and Amiee. That could just be me and the headspace I am in, but it was something I was a little disappointed by.
The Final Verdict If you're looking for a sapphic, spooky novella that you can get through fast, this one's for you babes. I trust anything Kenna writes and always will 💜 thanks for letting me ARC read Kenna
Kenna always does such amazing writing! This book was so good! I am loving this series so far and excited for the rest to come out!
We got another insta-love book, but this time, it is between our girls Aimee and Lanie, who we met in the previous book. No worries, though these All Hollows' books are all stand alones, but I'd say still read the other one as it is also amazing
I was surprised that it wasn't as down and dirty like the previous one. This one I loved as these two jist made an absolutely cute couple! This did feel shorter than I am used to with Kenna, but hopefully, at the end of all of these, we got a bit of a follow-up with our girls!
If you enjoy wlw, insta love(they have known each other longer than it shows), bi awakening, witchy vibes, and cute couples, then you should give this book a read!
Thank you, Kenna, for this eARC that i received. I am volunteering to put out a review!
This was an absolutely adorable and sweet insta-love story between two amazing characters that just fills your heart with all kinds of joy and love. And that it happens during Halloween is even better because we get some spooky vibes woven into the story too.
Aimee and Lane take us on their journey of finding themselves and finding love. They are such sweet and loveable characters, and they filled my heart with such joy. They had me laughing, swooning, and just gushing with love over the both of them.
The story might be short and quick, but it is still packed with emotions, sweetness, passion, spice and love.
The writing was fantastic and I can’t wait for more stories like this from this amazing author.
The butterflies and goofy grins of new love (and lust) are all here wrapped up in Halloween themes and witchy vibes. A really fun read for spooky season from one of my favourite authors!
It’s a story of friends to lovers, new experiences, tarot, cotton candy and backseat fun! I loved the way Aimee explored her attraction and feelings for Lane (and how she returned them just as fiercely). And the supporting characters in these books are so good! The way this group of friends interact and supports one another is amazing and the banter between them, so funny!
Many thanks to the author for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.
This was a cute little follow-up introducing more details to readers for other characters mentioned in the first book. I really enjoyed how this played into the first book with different points of view from other characters as well as having a new story for Aimee and Lanie. This was a very quick read with a cute story of finding yourself and being able to tell how you really feel about someone. I loved them spying on Sienna and Everett at the end. This is a good quick read to follow up on book one.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 All Hallow’s Hex by @novels_and_novellas Aaaah, I loved this novella so much! Kenna never disappoints! First of all, I read tarot, so I loved Lane and how she explained tarot. Everything she said has been stuff I’ve said in the past about it, and I felt such a strong relation to her 🖤 Second, there’s just not enough sapphic books out there, and this one was done so well! I’m just sad that it was so short. I wanted so much more of Lane and Ames 🖤
Kenna writes bangers after bangers, and this book was absolutely no exception. I loved how this book followed Aimee's discovery and growth of her own sexuality, and how Lanie did not pressure nor force anything to happen. She just let things grow and grow they did. I continuously mention how much I hate insta-love, but the way Kenna wrote it in this book, it didn't bother me one bit. I only wish this book was longer. It was just so good, I didn't want it to ever end.
Sweet. Loving. Sexy. I love everything about this story. What Aimee goes through as a person is so real and so relatable for many people. The chemistry of the character is on fire, but their sweet moments are everything. I cannot wait to see where their story goes. As always Kenna made a story that was hot, relatable, and amazing.
Every one of the novellas always blows me away, but I really loved Hex.
Being introduced to Lanie and Aimee this time around, and the two of them are going have the best time together!! A little witchy, super quick to love, and seeing the rest of the friend group drop in and out too!!
I loved delving back into the Hallows Eve world again. The characters were so cute and funny. Their connection was instant and I loved the coming out aspect.
The ending was really fun when we get to read about the previous characters again and where they all ended up.
3.75⭐️ Alright… this one was cute. The first one was pretty typical of these quick Halloween novellas with the instalove & nonstop spice. This one, while even shorter, felt like its gave us more. I also enjoyed getting the outside perspectives for the book 1 relationship & the introduction to the boys from the next book. I read this super quickly in one sitting & had a lot of fun.
I got this book as an ARC and I absolutely devoured it. It was fast paced and a quick read but I loved every minute of it. Aimee and Lanie are a perfect vibe and so adorable together. Hallow’s Haunt is becoming my favorite place for a spooky good time read.
Cute first kisses Wonderful snacks (milkshakes and cotton candy) A star crossed cross over from one of my favorite Kenna couples And a peek into the next book
It was a short read And it left me wishing for more But with S & E … i got a feeling this is just the beginning.
3 stars. This was well written and I liked the relationship between Aimee and Lane. I just wasn’t in love with this in the end. It was a quick and fun read but nothing special. I’d read something else by this author though.
Kenna did it again, this book was short and sweet. I absolutely loved these characters and seeing some characters from the previous and possibly future books was a nice addition as well. I love the way she writes insta-love stories.
This one was just so sweet! I loved how positive it was with a little bit of spooky. And the epilogue where we see the couple from the first book from Aimee and Lane’s perspective is too adorable! I’m really enjoying these novellas!
These two are adorable, and I need more of them. I loved getting to see an outsider to Everett and Sienna trying to figure themselves out after their book.
