Terrific devotional compiled from notes Amy Carmichael wrote over several years as a missionary in India where she served orphans. The title is taken from a German translation of Job 26:14 “These are the edges of his ways”. I was so often strengthened by her entries in a year filled with trials, loss and disappointments. First published in 1955 it’s not as contemporary as other options but filled with biblical truth and encouragement that never changes.
