This book includes cities from Hong Kong to Berlin. “Istanbul, Turkey has population of 9.8 million.”(Brenner 29) This book lists the population, interests, and area of each city with detail. “The Celtics founded Manchester in the year 79 CE.”(Brenner 102) There are paragraphs about every city that explains the origins, tourist attractions, and describes the characteristics of each city. In the context of each city it lists famous people that were born there and the national language. 100 Cities of the World is divided into 6 chapters due to different locations. I would recommend this book to any of those people that love learning about geography and other cultures. “Seattle is nicknamed The Emerald City.” (Brenner 129)The book will probably teach you many new things on each page and it is always good to learn new things because the author did a outstanding job. This book will teach you more about our amazing and mind-blowing world. This book could be used to decide where you want to have a vacation to. This is a really good book for people that want to know more about cities around the Globe. I learned a lot from this book and so will you. I would give this book 8.5 out of 10 stars because this is a pretty well written book and has very accurate facts. The pictures in this book are very clear and pretty, they were organized into the book fantastically. I think they put a lot of research for the facts to be published and is very detailed. If you haven’t looked at this book than I think you should give it a go.
It was a pleasure to finish the year with this book. This is a quick view with very basic information from a lot of cities around the world (and some beautiful stunning photos). My traveler soul is pleased.

It contains a lot of knowledge about geography and anyone interested in the subject should read this book. Many facts on the cities are also provided, accompanied by beautiful images as well.
