BETTER OFF BURIED! Talbot Engineering Inc. is under new management, but the organization's brilliant chief scientist, Batya Zhan, is not willing to give up her coded work to this unexpected threat without a fight. Over at Zhan's dig site, the intruders drill into the ice of the moon colony's surface only to discover hundreds of dark, black, frozen bodies. With daylight quickly dwindling away, it's anyone's guess what horrors will emerge in the black of night and from the cold of the ice.
Not a lot of story happened this issue, but it definitely heated up as more aliens entered the scene. Curious to learn more, but I wish it was moving a little slower. The ice moon setting is good fun and I have a sneaking feeling it’ll be moving off of it quickly.
Still a five from me for art and Aliens doing what they do. Cheers.
This is becoming a very beat for beat predictable Alien story, which isn't inherently a bad thing if done with strong execution, but due to the fast pace this is going it doesn't have much room for nuance or anything beyond surface level, and for that reason I am disappointed. It isn't horrible by any means, just unremarkable.
Massive step up from issue 1, however the writing isn’t amazing - how many characters shout AIIIEEEEE had me laughing by the end. Was cool to finally see the first phase of the alien actually get a bit of action rather than just letting it and vanishing until fully grown.

This issue was more engaging as it felt like things are moving forward faster. I'm still not sure if I care enough about any of the characters to be concerned if they get face-hugged.
