If you're looking for a hot book then look no further.
Between them, Slade, Ida, and Jace almost set my kindle on fire. A lot of hawt books often don't have much plot, but this one is plot heavy! Tick!
We go way back through the years with this one and find out how these three series favorites got together and fell in love.
I loved looking back at the early days of the Rugged Skulls, and finding out more about the illusive throuple that we all know and love from the series.
It kept me hooked, but then I'm a huge RS fan, so that's no shocker. Just like the rest of the series, Slade is full of snappy dialogue, hot scenes, smiles and a touch of angst.
Highly recommend.

Jase, slade and ida
I just loved this first prequel in the Rugged Skulls series. Jase and Ida felt the connection to Slade the minute he walked into the tattoo shop and felt excited for things to come.
Things were going slow but good, however things come to a crushing halt when once more Idas parents come and vist, however Ida dosnt know yet how to tell her parents that she loves another besides Jase and describes Slade as a friend.
Can the three of them get past her parents and the lack of trust and communication between them all?
This certainly is a must read, im certainly looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Five huge stars!!
Five bloody massive stars for this!! I have loved Slade, Jase and Ida since they were mentioned in 'Getting Mine'. And I was unbelievably excited when I found out that we were getting their story.
This went above and beyond, hitting every bloody feel! Not going to lie, there were tears. But my days, my heart is so full.

Hot, hot, hot
I loved getting to know more about Slade, Ida and Jace. Ida and Jace together were smoking, but with Slade they are explosive. I loved how she stood up to her parents on her own and how her older sister had been looking out for her younger siblings all along. This was a great read.

Slade, Jase & Ida
Wow. This was gripping! It’s super spicy, but I found myself super emotional. Ida’s family is just awful. The emotional trauma that they cause is just abhorrent. I want to know more. I want to find out what happens after! The love and connection that these three find is just amazing. You can feel it through the pages. I loved it!

Timely prequel
I like the story but I think it opened a surprise that has yet to be answered. What does Cora do to destroy hers, Edith and Ida's parents? Since that generation of books is complete and this was a prequel, I question that this will ever be answered.

very good read
I very much enjoyed this story. Slade enters the picture later, since he is in another club. Jase owns a tattoo shop and is very successful, he is with Ida and has been with her for 4 yrs. They all fall in love. I highly recommend this story.

Enjoyable read.
Really enjoyed the dynamics of this thruple. Very well written. I read the RS next generation first so doing this backwards. Seeing the older gen in their younger days is a blast. Very hot and steamy scenes, good storyline too.
