Finally, I read this book. A teacher gave it to me 5 years ago, and I had always avoided it. Also, a few years ago I didn't have this English level. I read a normal book and a lot of comics in English, so it was easy. And I know it's for B1 level (the high one), but sometimes I was like "don't say those stupid things, I don't care if I don't understand, just write like a normal person, not like a student learning the verb 'to be'". Ok, I will do my review now. This story starts when Billy Marr says that he killed a girl, but he's always going to the police station to say he did crimes that really he didn't, so no one believes him. But, what a surprise... There is a girl dead in the place where Billy said he did his murder. Is he a killer? The investigation starts and we found some interesting things. It was boring, and the ending was stupid. Are they inspectors or teens? I know it's just a simple book to learn English but even the kids' books have quality. What is this shit? Even though, I read it and I didn't hate it as much as some other book I have read.
This is my first time that I read the mystery book because I'm alway read a romantic book or human interest. I had red the small detail of the book at the back of book, is sound good. When I try to read the first chapter, I really like the word choice that author use to describes the characters, place or feeling. He use the easy word to describes, that make me more understand the story because I think that all mystery book alway use the difficult word. I really like inspector Jenny Logan. She very dynamic inside and flat outside. She is passion of what she doing, be careful, is super cool
