First off it’s interesting to see the differences of 1976 lawsuits between countries and current time. Second it’s interesting to read about the issues of McDonnell Douglas and how they possibility continued into the post buyout period when Boeing made the mistake of taking on MD administration.

Well researched book into the crash of a DC-10 near Paris. This was one of the incidents that eventually caused the DC-10 to fall from grace with the industry due to problems with the cargo door. The last half of the book dealt extensively with the complex and lengthy process of insurance claims, and sadly how long the victim's families had to wait for settlements.
