This medical biography was a great overall picture of Portsmouth's medical past. With information about Pest Island, the epidemics that plagued the city and the Cottage Hospital, I have learned so much about Portsmouth's medical past. Additionally, the primary source photographs provided by the Strawbery Banke Museum provided a delightful glimpse of Portsmouth's earlier days.
