This book is for issues 7-12 of the 2003-2004 Namor series.

Wow, that was... a mess. I can see why no one talks about this anymore. Everything goes wrong, as you would imagine it does, and instead of trying to establish a world of culture and politics for Atlantis you get a Pocahontas wannabe love story. Instead, go watch Atlantis: The Lost Empire. It's better in every way AND has cool animation instead of the garbled mess of weird early 2000s art that this has.

Another reasonable look into Namor, but still a bit too romance heavy for my taste.
TW for attempted murder, teen pregnancy/being sent away to a home for pregnant, unmarried women, mentions of starvation, shark bites, racist remarks, blood, injury, oil drilling, money troubles.
