Introduction lays out the challenges of theater in addressing climate change and the problems it presents in terms of dramatic writing. Most essays in the volume sadly do not define the concept of "nature". I found most worthwhile, "Theater, Environment, and the Thirties" and "Bringing Blood to Ghosts: English Canadian Drama and the EcoPolitics of Place". The most rigorous of essays and thought was "Ethics, Evolution, Ecology, and Performance" by Bruce McConachie.
