A native Sooner, romance author Debra S. Cowan was born in Idabel, Oklahoma, and later moved to the Tulsa area. Like many writers, Debra made up stories in her head as a child. I liked it a lot
Jake was a little mysterious in the beginning about why he did not like the child but eventually we got to know him and like him
As for Emma she thought of running many times, she fought her and jake mutual attraction, she never told jake her secret for different reasons that changed during her relationship with him. I totally understand why did she do all that but that did not stop me from being bothered by her actions
