She decided writing her own romance novel and on 2004, her firts book was published.
Michelle continued linving in southeastern Michigan with her husband, their three children, two dogs and two cats. When she's not writing or busy being a mom, you can find her in the garden or curled up with a romance novel. "House Calls" is a beautifully written, touching love story with utterly lovable characters. Pete and Maggie are great together, their relationship is filled with tenderness, wit and humour. They complement each other and that makes them a perfect match. I loved this book and highly recommend it!
it's about the therapist, Maggie who try to recover Peter. Pete had an tragic accident in the hospital, on of his friend died at that time. Pete is the doctor in the emergency room. Maggie and Pete stayed near the seashore. Maggie guided him till he's able to walk properly and get the part time job in the small clinic. Pete often had a nightmare about the accident in the hospital, one night Maggie accompanied him till morning and xxxxxxxxxxxxx they make love glitter-graphics.com They fall in love each other and lived happily :D
The plot is kinda familiar, I recall reading one Linda Howard's about a physiotherapist and her patient and IMO she wrote that one better. I like romance about physiotherapists and patients, though. Must be demanding being a therapist, it's nice to read about their love stories for a change.
This book was reviewed/rated by The Oakland Press and by a Michigan author with the setting in northern Michigan, so I gave it a try. It turned out to be a short, simple romance story about a physical therapist and a doctor injured by a gunshot wound. Disappointing overall.
This book was good but I wouldn't go beyond that, which is why I am giving it 2.5 stars (simply 2 seems a bit harsh). Maggie has very predictable fat-want-to-be-thin problems throughout the book and her constant self-hate, like basically to the last page of the book, got a bit wearisome. Pete was also a bit annoying but more because he seemed uber perfect and his "imperfections", if you can call them that, were so momentary.
All in all, I won't be re-reading this but it was a short, relatively light novel and I guess it was sort of a relaxing read to interrupt In Cold Blood, which I am also currently reading. But I would not recommend it very strongly.
