Christian Roberts played for Bristol City so I may be slightly biased when talking about how brilliant it was. I decided to read this book because of his time with Bristol City but his entire story was captivating and hard to put down. The book slightly reminded me of Tony Adam's book but as a lower league version of it due to the stories of both their addiction to both alcohol and football are very similar and they are both excellent books. I enjoyed the book thoroughly as it was both incredibly funny and then become extremely moving. In this book, you can clearly see his personality, opinions and the impact that his addiction had on him. Overall, this book is brilliant!
