Encountering Affect: Capacities, Apparatuses, Conditions by Ben Anderson

Rate this book
While there has been much work in the humanities and in sociology and cultural studies on theories of affect and emotion, it is only in the past few years that geographers have begun questioning the spatial and space-time dynamics of the affective/emotive life. This book is the first to provide a critical overview of these dynamics and the main theories that underpin them, arguing that though interconnected, separate theories of both affect and emotion are required.
