Mercè Company i González (Barcelona, 19 de maig de 1947) és una escriptora catalana. Va fer estudis de batxillerat i periodisme, fent col·laboracions en diverses revistes i editorials. Ha publicat més de 170 llibres i la seva obra com a escriptora de llibres infantils i juvenils ha estat reconeguda amb diversos premis. El 1993 va crear l'escola Aula de Lletres. L'any 1999 se li va reconèixer el seu treball amb la Medalla d'Honor de Barcelona.[

M'he rellegit la reedició que n'acaben de fer i uf, tremenda magdalena de Proust. Recordo haver-lo llegit de la biblioteca del poble quan era petita i tenia les il·lustracions gravades a foc. A part d'això, és un llibre senzill, però molt divertit en la manera en què l'Anna va narrant el primer any de vida d'ella i les seves germanes (i ja veus a les il·lustracions que hi ha una visió completament diferent

Meet the Triplets is a story about three triplet girls as they grow up with their parent in an apartment in the city. It describes the daily routine of new parents as they deal with both hardships and happy moments of raising their kids. Capdevila gives the story a humorous tone when describing the plot. Capdevila also chooses one of the triplets to be the narrator of the story. The illustrations are done in color and show the characters in cartoon form with much exaggerated features. This story is appropriate for young children ages 4-7.
