Appropriately enough, Rose and Charlotte were gifted two copies of this book.

Phrases to describe Two is for Twins: measured rhymes, colorful style, and multicultural. A great storytime book about twins, I used it for a number 2 storytime. The only down note was a mention of chicken pox (a couple of children asked "what's that" at that point in the story) but the twins we had present really seemed to enjoy it. Recommended.

I suppose this book was inevitable, given we're a 2- for -1 very special special as mama calls us. And yes, I suppose it is kinda useful at times to have an annoying twin brother to play with/ boss around. What's this chicken pox business though and why are we both getting it? That sounds like something brother would enjoy. I'll let him have that one. 👶🏽👧🏽

This is a good book for younger students such as pre-k to kindergarten. Also this would be a good book for twins to read or just to introduce to the class the idea of twins especially if they have twins in the class or if they are getting two new students who happen to be twins. I thought this book was pretty cute and I really enjoyed how it started out counting out twos of things. I didn't find much wrong with this book, the only thing I wish the author would have added a little more of was something saying how twins are two completely different people and not one in the same.

"Each one has the other there to play a game to help...to share. Two ride the seesaw . Two build with blocks. Sometimes two get chicken pocks!" Hiroe Nakata (Daddy Calls Me Doodlebug and more) paints a bounding, building and birthday-candle-blowing curly-headed twosome in party hats, play clothes, bunny slippers, and lively yellow rain slickers! Sometimes matching, sometimes not! A dynamic rhyming board book for duets and singlets alike!

This book is great for teaching the number two. It teaches about twins a little about twins. It would be a great book for twins or a classroom with twins. For the pre-k and kindergarten classroom. You could have the students make or draw a list of things that come in twos. You could a small activity discussing what happens when you double twos.

Great book for beginning readers and students. Very simple but fun and easy for students with great things that kids love in the illustrations. Two makes a lot! Two hands, eyes, etc. teach children how many twos there actually are in the world!

Positive, playful story about twins perfect for toddlers. Two is for hands and eyes and ears, but two is also for twins. A look at the up side of being a twin with the perks of a built in play mate and having twice the fun. Cheerful illustrations and happy introduction to the world of being a twin.

The book goes through objects and body parts that have two's. It then goes further in detail about twins, who sometimes where or do the same things but not always.
